Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition - Kay Kyser and his Orchestra

From the BioShock 2 album. I don't make a habit of listening to music this old, but its quite catchy...it makes me cackle a bit, as well. This is soooo BioShock. I'm going to be humming this later...

INXS - Never Tear Us Apart

I love this song. It makes me feel at peace when I listen to it.

I first heard it on Donnie Darko, which is one of the saddest movies I've ever seen. >.< Mad World at the end made it even sadder. =(

Anyway, this movie is right at the start and it just has a nice relaxed feeling about it.

Definitely a favourite.

Paramore - All i wanted was you.

I <3 this song rite now, her vocals are amazing as usual and i love how it slowly builds up with a peaceful sombre intro to a climatic burst of a somewhat sorrowful/regretful painful release while pertaining a smooth/grungy melody.

I love the transition from ghost to this to decode on the album, probs my 3 fav.

Junya Nakano, Masashi Hamauzu & Nubuo Uematsu - the Prelude

This is from Final Fantasy X, the music in the beginning. The tune is very simple but somehow has a magical touch to it. I especially like the harp sound going up and down the octave. It reminds me of FFX, no doubt.

Pixie Lott- Cry Me Out

I haven't got round to Gravity yet, but I rather love Pixie's little retro-ish ballad here - which is a classy change to her previous songs. The music video is interesting. It shows the guy crying while Pixie is the same as ever - a change as it's usually reversed, which is interesting. Pixie's voice herself is strong as usual. The long notes really do showcase her natural talent rather well.

Stitch In Your Party Dress - Jon Amor
Quite an unheard of artist, but he's a fantastic blues artist. He's twice as good live as in the studio, which is saying quite a bit. So far this is my favourite song by him.

Lady GaGa - Dance In The Dark

I love the fact Princess Diana is even mentioned in this track and has a very symbolic message for young girls ashamed of their bodies, encouraging them to dance in the dark. It's a very upbeat song and one of my personal favourites from The Fame Monster. I really do feel its lyrics are interlinked with Monster because of its personal message. I love how she can really showcase her voice in this song.

Uprising - Muse
Still my favourite song from The Resistance. I love the bass in it, it's actually making my room shake, and when the guitar properly kicks in is just short of epic.

Led Zeppelin - "Fool In The Rain"

I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin because my dad is a HUGE fan. So I pretty much love all of their music. And John Bonham's drumming in this song is really good, and I just love Roberts voice in the song. And the part of the song with that fun piano is amazing--it really lifts my spirits up when I listen to it.

It's a great song. Everyone should listen to it.

As Tall as Lions - Song for Luna

I'm loving them lately, I've been listening to their stuff for quite a while now. This song gives me the chills. It seems even more incredible live. :hmmm:

Haven't found all that I'm looking for
Lost your ghost somewhere in Samana
I run my fingers across windows to trace
all the outlines that make up your face
Haven't found all that I'm looking for
Lost your ghost somewhere in Samana
Try and try there's no use to pretend,
all I want is to see you again

Sing into the moonlight
Who could ask for more?

Lady Gaga - Love Game

Easily one of my favourite songs. Love the beat and the lyrics.

Great music video. She looked a lot better in her earlier videos. In her newer ones she looks like she has a residing hair line at the top of her forehead and she looks older in the face for some strange reason. She's only 23.

But anyway, love this song.

Crash Test Dummies-- "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm"

Anyone remember this song? I love it--I actually have a cassette tape of this album somewhere, though I haven't seen it in a while :hmmm: The part about the parents acting possessed in the church kind of gives me the chills, but it also reminds me of the Happy Happy cult in Earthbound, so being game related it's ok :D

No You Girls-franz ferdinand
Greaaat song!!! Haha this song is quite funny to me... >.> :hmmm: This is a fantastic group and this song is just amazingly amazing and not to mention, the leader singer is awesome<3 Love the group, love the song.

Do you never wonder?
No, no no no

You girls never know
Oh no, you girls'll never know
No you girls never know
How you make a boy feel
You girls never know
Oh no, you girls'll never know
No you girls never know
How you make a boy feel
How you make a boy

Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums - A Perfect Circle

I love this song...its evenly-paced and very catchy. The vocals are almost ominous as well, in that they're more whispered than they are sung...

Boom Boom Boom - Outhere Brothers

As a standalone song it's pretty shit but it's a brilliant party song like it was a last night, it's a pure party starter and even those who don't like club type music were singing along to it. That shit has everyone on their feet :ryan:

When It Rains, by Paramore.

Listened to it a billion times by now, I swear. Both lyrics, and melody make this song.

I love Paramore. :ryan:

10/10 easily.

Lady GaGa - Teeth

A great closing song for the album and it';s really a track that might take some people by surprise as it's so different to all of her stuff that has come before it. Really do love it and I would prefer to have seen it released as a single, though in truth I don't think the mainstream would take all that kindly to it in that context as it would be quite a dramatic switch form her other single releases so far.

Timbaland ft. Katy Perry- If We Ever Meet Again

It's not Timbo's usual collaboration partner, I thought at first. Timbo tries his hand at singing - though really not perfect singing at all, I quite like how his voice appears to sound nonetheless. The song gets plus points for having Katy Perry, one of my favourite figures of pop. As ever, her voice is incredible and does a great job of aiding the slightly-struggling Timbo. Katy does fit rather well in this song, unlike SoShy in Morning After Dark - and I find myself enjoying this moreso than Timberland's last single.

Lady Gaga - Alejandro

Why in the world I'm listening to Lady Gaga, I don't know. This song is just so extremely catchy that I can't bring myself to stop listening.

Don't call my name
Don't call my name, Alejandro
I'm not your babe
I'm not your babe, Fernando

Don't wanna kiss, don't wanna touch
Just smoke one cigarette and hush
Don't call my name
Don't call my name, Roberto
