I find it funny that I'm the only one who is super stoked about this :lew:. Unlike most of you, Vaan was my favorite FF Character. Despite his low character development in the game, he was among one of my favorite protagonists in the game(with balthier being a close second). So, to hear he's going to be in Dissidia 012 is not only good news on my gaming part, but also i get to have a fangasm while doing so :ryan:.

But seriously, doesn't surprise me at the least, especially considering Vaan, like Kain and Lightning, were originally considered for Dissidia 1. Although his fanbase is a bit...smallish. Let's hope Dissidia 012 will get more fans for him...

This news is not very good for me, as I did not want him anywhere near this game. HOPEFULLY, he will be good at least. I really hope they render his "chest" better this time, or I will take out my anger on his defenseless AI. :mokken:

I KNEW this would happen. Now if Vaan were to be put in it, they would have to put his main enemy in the game too, right? So. . .Vayne would be in it too. I don't know. Those are my predictions. But I would have preferred Balthier. At least there's an extra person that I can enjoy beating the shit out of .

So they picked the one unlikable and unwelcome character from XII? Smart, real smart. They couldn't get Vossler, or Reddas or even Larsa. No, they went with the uninteresting cardboard cutout of a character instead.
 
Just to point it out, this was previously reported by Fusionist here just a few hours beforehand, but I'll leave this thread as it is as people can easily see the information at hand - rather than go through the countless pages in the Dissidia thread. xD

I suppose the only consolation of Vaan appearing in DDFF will be that he'll disappear at the end of the game in some way (those who aren't aware DDFF is the prequel to Dissidia). I hope he get's destroyed in a epic manner by Emperor :awesome:.

That just great one character that FF XII could of done without and they put him in another Square game. I'm really starting to lose faith in Square game's. Maybe they put Vaan in so people can actually have a character they enjoy fighting.
 
Idk where their conscience have gone to... they don't know anymore what the fanbase wants to play! Putting that creature (Vaan) is almost insulting! Choose Balthier or Bash so :thehell:

They didn't choose Balthier purely because he isn't the main character; he is a supporting character. Despite what the fanbase is, the fact of the matter is that Vaan is the main character of FF12, and as such he is pretty much guaranteed a spot in this upcoming game.
 
horarry another stupid new character for the new dissidia :/ only tifa and lighting have been named that i like

auron and yuna please :) and vivi ;)
