Dirge of Cerberus Vincent survived?

I was just reading some information awhile ago on Vincent and the Square staff has stated that Vincent Valentine, is infact, immortal from all of the experiements that have been performed on his body. He died at 27, killed by Hojo, was brought back, had intense experiements performed on his body so he would survive and therefore they left him immortal. That's how he was able to sleep for 30 years in that coffin without aging.

So what your basically saying is that Vincent was killed, and then 'resurrected' by Hojo for the experiments? I think that fits in well with his whole dark character-ism
Where did you see this?

I'm trying to find the site I was looking at this morning. I'm sure if you do a Wikipedia search that it'll explain some about Vincent atleast, but yes. Vincent was killed by Hojo whom Hojo took his body to use experiements on. Lucrecia aided in these experiements to save his life. All of the tests that had been done on him left him immortal in the end. Try doing a search because right now I don't have the time to sit and look for the site. I'm going to be leaving here shortly. When I get home, I'll see if I can find it again.

i think that as stated in the clip after the credits, that chaos did retrn to the lifestream, but not totally. like i think there will always been a bit of chaos inside of Vincent and that it would be possible that Vincent could again become Chaos given the right conditions eg, he lost the protomateria again or some other event triggered him to change into Chaos. But i think he would be more incontrol and wouldnt have the 'problems' seen in the game.
and yeah i agree with what Lady Aerith is saying about the the timeline on how he became infused with Chaos. it is in the game if you look closely enough. enough anyway to piece it together to come to that conclusion.
actually its pretty sad, because of his immortallity he will become very lonely as the rest of the gang age, get old and eventually die... and considering all possibility he would be there until the end...

I just guess that Chaos is indestrucable or something, and being such a big part of Vincent it kinda makes him immortal?

Yes, because Vincent is as good as immortal. So if there ever is another part of the compilation that focuses around Nanaki 500 years after the events of FFVII (like I hope there will be), then it's likely that Vincent will make an appearance in it

i wonder if vincents chaos form would be different since in ff7 it had no red 'hair' and that was added in ff7 doc so what else could be added/taken away in ff7 doc2?

i think he did survied i saw on you tube the ending and he was alive.Unless if it wasnt the ending im not sure.

Well since LA already stated the Square said Vincent is immortal then I'm guessing that is why he survived.

it would be pretty depressing if he survive all that time and just went KA-BOOM!!!....besides lucresia went and locked her self in a glass tube because she wanted him to live! (and beside the fact she was depressed and couldn't live with herself). he says it himself "i survived because of you". and this is final fantasy....if the only way to save the world was to sacrifice himself they would find another way. i think vincent deserves a better death than KA-BOOM!!! (not that i want him to die, i love vincent)
