Due to the actions taken in recent events, I'm afraid I can no longer stay here.

The double standards, completely ignoring member suggestions even if they will boost activity, incompetent staff with no mediation skills, failure to realize when one has been caught up in a flame fest... things really haven't changed much over the past five years. Quite frankly, as ex-staff, I'm severely disappointed in you lot. None of you have a sense of fair judgement, all of you pick favorites, and none of this is acceptable.

Mitsuki, I'm so sorry you've wound up with such a sad group of individuals. I really am.

I really only came back for the role-playing section, but argh... you guys have ruined that for me, too. How? See my last blog because quite frankly, that has been brushed off too. Numerous times. Despite the fact that it would increase activity in that section.

But no. No one values such suggestions anymore. I have no faith in a forum when the staff can't perform with some level of consistency.

Kaos was right, just as he was five years ago. This place is cancerous.

I'm sorry you feel the need to call everyone on Staff out this way. This has happened as long as I've been part of this forum, and part of Staff it's always all of Staff's fault, even if there's people who work their ass off for a job they don't get paid for, because the members assume we all have the same opinion. We don't. Thing is people are always going to complain.

Staff doesn't take action, because they don't deem it worthy, what shitty staff.
Staff takes action because they deem something worthy, what a shitty staff they're targeting my friends on purpose.

What has changed about Staff is that we no longer look at "friend cliques" that's the old days. That's one hell of an improvement, if you ask me. Staff bullying people off the forum back in the days, I'm sure people want that back.

I wasn't even going to respond to this, but considering I made a thread about forum activity and have always taken suggestions seriously, because I do like to see forums grow, I take offense to what you said. You categorize everyone in to the same label, and if you want to actually have a solid reason for leaving, then at least be honest and don't just summarize everyone together because you don't know the behind the scene details.

As ex-staff you should know there will always be people complaining no matter what.

Sorry to hear you have to leave though, whatever makes you feel better.

I'm sorry that you feel that way about this place, and when your anger subsides, and if you ever change your opinion of the people here and feel like returning, I'm sure you'd be welcome.
 
Hah, reminds me of when I got silenced ant not told about it, forgot I was silenced, and then informed 16 days later when it was lifted, would have been nice to know.

Or the time I got ban from the SB for reporting bad behavior

I'm glad someone said it. We have a share of moderators that set aside all personal ties, and I thank you for it.

Firstly, we're not going to turn this into a slag off on the staff thread.

Secondly, I'm sorry your life was ruined by inadvertently being banned from the SB. But we're humans, not robots, and sometimes the wrong button gets pushed. It wasn't personal.

Thirdly, if you have a problem with a staffer or his/her actions, take it to an admin.

Other than just wanting to make an overly dramatic song and a dance about a few grievances that you manage to implicate all of staff - except for Mitsuki, mysteriously - of being culpable for, what sort of a response were you hoping to get out of this tirade?

Haven't seen a post like this in ages - a breath of fresh air in this dusty old community!

If I could offer a pearl of wisdom. It's something that people have said for years but it tends to fall on deaf ears when you're the one enraged but: chill the fuck out. This is an internet forum.

I used to get so caught up in the internet drama, as most people here will tell you, but I suddenly stopped being 16 and it all fell into perspective. I don't know what's rattled your cage but it's not worth seething about and trying your damndest to write a poignant "fuck you, goodbye" thread that no one truly takes anything away from other than "hah".

I'm not here to antagonise you, I'm here to tell you all, staff included, to settle the fuck down. :wacky:
 
Speaking of The Office, it looks like Catherine Tate is in the American one now. Haven't seen her in yoooonks :/
