Well I was in the cinemas the other day when I saw the trailer for 'Wall-E'.
To be honest I found myself having laughing fits, Wall-E just looks like a pure Pixar masterpiece. xD

"WALL-E is the story of the last little robot on Earth. He is a robot and his programming was to help clean up. You see, it's set way in the future. Through consumerism, rampant, unchecked consumerism, the Earth was covered with trash. And to clean up, everyone had to leave Earth and set in place millions of these little robots that went around to clean up the trash and make Earth habitable again.
Well, the cleanup program failed with the exception of this one little robot and he's left on Earth doing his duty all alone. He doesn't know he can stop working. But it's not a story about science fiction. It's a love story, because, you see, WALL·E falls in love with EVE, a robot from a probe that comes down to recover the last plant left on Earth, which curious little Wall-E has picked up. He absolutely falls in love with her."

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall-Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I'm so hyped for this movie. xD :wacky:

I found out about this a while ago, and kind of liked the look of it. I'd totally forgotten about it until now actually. I had no idea what the plot for it was until now either, and it sounds like it might be quite good actually. There's not a release date yet, is there?

Oh, I saw this preview when I went to go see Prince Caspian! :neomon: It looks absolutely adorable. Poor little guy. Awww. I just wanted to jump, into the screen, and cuddle it. Lol. It looks really sweet and I've no doubt that I'll go to see it. Adorable.

There's not a release date yet, is there?
I just checked then, apparently it comes out in the USA this Friday and then it comes out here on the 18th July. That probably means I'll have to sort out seeing it with someone because the trailer just cracks me up every time xD

Um, to be honest when I saw the trailer a few weeks ago, it didn't appeal to me at all. I don't really like anything that has to do with robots and the like. I'm not a big fan of Pixar - in fact, I don't really like any of the movies by Pixar. I doubt I'd see this movie in theatres, but I may buy the DVD for my daughter.

18th of July, that puts it right in the firing line of The Dark Knight o_O. but still, this film looks awesome!

Pixar = geniuses

I love pretty much all their films to date (the two Toy Story films in particular are two of my all-time favourite films), they always put work into having a great script and plotline to match the visuals.

Very much looking forward to this when it comes out in the UK in mid-July. If it is up to their usual standards we're in for a real treat.

I was expecting it to get decent reviews from IMDB because it generally looked a great film...but I wasn't expecting it to get 9.1/10 overall and the 6th greatest film ever (8.8/10 by regular users). :wacky:
I think I'll definitely take a trip to see it now.

I remember seeing this advertised last year and forgot all about it. But yeah Im up for that! I love the look of Wall-E, he is the most adorable thing ever, plus Pixar are amazing.

Wall-E was am amazing movie, and i am currently forcing my parents to watch it and take me with them so i can see it again. it was funny and it kinda had a weird romantic love story in it lol. still no good at explaining things, you should watch this movie if you haven't already.

Wall-E, looks so cute! ^_^

But i don't think i'll see it in the movies. I'll most likely download it *cough* torrent ftw *cough* or get it on DVD.

It was adorable. Though the ending kinda got a little silly IMO. I wish it kept the same strength from the beginning of the movie

I went to see it in the cinemas the other day. It was beautiful, and rather innovative with the lack of speach in the first half of the film. An awesome movie, and an instant classic.

Can I just say this film is totslly amazing!? I loved every second of it and was in tears because of the sheer beauty of it. Im Wall-E obessed, my room is full of Wall-E merchandise Im that bad lol. Truely my fav film of all time due to its soundtrack, meaning, animation and the fact that Wall-E himself is a hopless romantic and shall always reign as my hero!

I probably won't see it. I don't know, something about a movie with no words for the first thirty minutes really doesn't appeal to me. My cousin saw it and said it was really good, but he's eight years old, so he thinks everything put out by Disney is a masterpiece.

Plus, hearing WALLLLLL-EEE every five seconds would get annoying. I remember that I was watching something on ABC one night, and every other commercial had Wall-E screaming his name at some poor old guy from Dancing With the Stars.

So no, I don't plan on seeing it. I might if it comes on TV one night once it's out, but I don't know.

Sorry if this offends any fans of the movie.

You would be missing out, Im not offended, but maybe you should give it a whirl. if its not your bagm thats fair enough. I mean, Im 23 and love it to death lol.

It was fun, I'll admit it, but not so...o spectacular, :P Yeah... I laughed and such, but tbh I laughed more at Kung Fu Panda, probably due to the company I had, XD

saw this film a couple of weeks ago and it is awesum, wall-e is sooo cute and the lil fella falls in love with eve, soooo cute, i also loved the fact that there was hardly any conversations as Wall-e doesn't have the ability to speak

I never got to see it because my dad took my brother to see it when I was on holiday so I'll have to wait until the DVD is released. -__-
I got told that even though a lot of it was funny it didn't live up to its hype, which most films don't, but I was still a little but gutted ='(

Is wall-e even out? If it is I want to see it. It seems great because the of comercials I have seen. I like the part when that girl robot blows up a rock.
