I've only played it once, and that was at my ex girlfriend's house. I believe I was either Yoshi or Mario, and I had a fun time playing it. I prefer the original, though.

I'd always play MK with the Princess, she seemed to be the fastest.

Princess and Toad are equally fast and light(fly faster off the track, but move and accellerate faster then others)
