Advent Children Was cloud shot in the head

The bullet appears to bounced off his heavy duty goggles (as unrealistic as it seems) knocking them off in the process. But like a lot of you said, it really doesn't matter because he's the main character. Look at the battle in the Forgotten City, during most of it Yazoo is just standing there shooting at Cloud incessantly yet he is never hit by a bullet. Miraculously, Cloud manages to block all the bullets with his sword; that's just how Cloud is.

I personally like this idea, it makes sense :wacky:

Altho tbh, I think it might take more than 362 HP off him. But saying that the goggles/sunglasses w/e they are may have deflected most of the damage

:monster:

tbh, it shouldn't even take that much damage off him seeing as he only got a scratch afterwards, so he most likely took...96HP, maybe?

EDIT: I just realized that my original post got deleted o_O lol

Yeah, that is unrealistic. I think my brother commented on that when I watched in, and I think the goggles were tough, or Yazoo missed. Anyway it's a movie so of course it isn't important that it isn't perfectly realistic.

And the fact that this is Final FANTAS Y. Yes, emphasis on Fantasy, so i doubt theres a need to be too realistic..
If we are going to pinpoint its un-realistic stuff, we would be complaining right from start to a never-ending end. (How could he jump, and never fall!? Ah, how did that Dragon come out from a tornado!? Ah! Rain that heals wounds, i want! And blah)

Well of course it hits me in the goggles. I'm Zack's Living Legacy. How else do you think i save the world from Sephiroth

It's a fantasy movie, weird odd and downright inexplicable things are allowed to happen, such as getting shot in the head at point blank range....and surviving!

I enjoy the movie more by just ignoring the many impossible things. :D

Despite Square Enix's efforts to make everything look so realistic?

DOES NOT COMPUTE.

While yes, it's Final Fantasy, Square Enix has come so far in focusing on making everything look so realistic, it's really unethical to turn around and say "HAY GUISE, ITS FINAL >>>FANTASY<<<, NOT FINAL REALITY".

:ffs:

well i can see why in the forest place when yazoo just shoots at him and none hit him because he blocks them with his sword it is humangous i dont think even if he had a a machine gun (wait what are those big machine guns called) yeah well if he had one of them he never would get any past him.

Yeh he hit him in the goggles i throught it was his head but i watched it again and realised it was his goggles

Well obviously he wasn't shot in the head otherwise he would've been dead before the film got into action.

His glasses deflected the bullet which must've scraped his skin when it was deflected, thats all I can say.

Yes and no.

The bullet skimmed his face, cutting his cheek and knocking off his goggles. It's a flesh wound. If the bullet hit him directly he'd be dead, and his goggles are in no way bullet proof.

Like everyone said...

The goggles?

I haven't seen the movie in awhile, so i hardly remember the scene but yeah...He was pretty much alive through the movie, so I'm guessing in the bullet proof goggles.

=3

O i always thought since him being a SOLDIER and all he was like the perfect weapon
