I'm also going to go with Cid on this one. His swearing was part of his personality, where as Barret just swore when he was pissed off. Cid's swearing just seemed a lot more casual than Barret's.
 
Definitely Cid. He actually got to say "Shit" without it being blocked out in the final FMV. Not only that, but his tea line is definitely famous.

He ordered his woman around, too. What a bamf.

But censored or not in any other game he made an appearances in the FF7 Compilation series his rants/speeches are indeed funny. (the one in DC before the aerial assault is good too - his briefing and 'pep talk' that is)

It's not funny as in 'ha ha' but amusing as in a 'briefing' to encourage the fighters to not let them win by dying

Cid! Barret has his moments too, but with Cid, it's more of a habit and a much more frequent one at that! Barret just does it when he's angry.
Great dialogue, very funny in parts!
 
If we're talking colorful cursing, I'll have to say Barret. The man doesn't just swear, he makes an art of it. He's a blackbelt in badmouthing and a paragon of pottymouthery. The man doesn't just utter one curse word. That'd be far too simple. If it's not a string of curse words, its definitely a blasfamous rant. To put it simply, he is king of cursing and Cid will never compare to Barret's verbal artistry.

I love both Cid and Barret for one reason: They cussed like crazy! it was a madhouse with them. and Aztec Triogal, very good point :D. i Have to give Barret the credit for creativeness [:
Overall, i decided to choose Barret. Maybe cos, i frickin loved him as a character. But then again, i love cid too xD. i think Cid would raise the most money in the cuss box ( every time yu cuss yu have to pay the box) but if it would be of like variety or like Aztec said creative Barret would win. So i guess both? :D
 
Now that someone mentioned AC - even Yuffie called Cloud "a pain in the ass"

It's not a biggie thing, but when I first saw it, I smiled.

Then before the English dub came out, I saw it with subtitles and it was translated from Barret to Cloud as "You're late, bitch!!" and not "The hell you been!?" I was disappointed in that change.
 
Voted for Cid. xD!!

I think out of him and Barret he is probably the most horrible one with cursing. But one line Barret had just cracked me up though.

"Shi't!"

I dunno why, but the whole scenery just made it so fucking awesome... xD!!
