On DoC i just beat the game like 2 or 3 days ago and i really thought it could be a lot better. The bosses were really hard and i like that but when you stareted to get to the end, everything was a one hit kill except for Omega Wiess but all you had to but on him was just run around and shoot. They made it too easy at the end. Like i said it could have been a lot better than it was.

I didn't really like this game. I prefer what the FF series is all about. I gave this away to my brother after completing it.

I wasn't satisfied. The plot concepts were solid, but they needed to expand on them a bit more and elaborate on certain points. If they'd presented the plot differently it would have been awesome.

The gameplay... I'll be blunt, it sucked. I felt like I was playing a beefed up arcade game. Vincent's story deserved a gameplay style that was good, but took a backseat to the story. Instead we got an action shoot-em-up gameplay style that hindered the story's experience.

Leveling up was just plain dumb, the only way you could go about actually leveling was by going through a level, then commiting suicide at the end so you could keep the XP from that level and then play the level again for more.

All in all the story could have been great, if it wasn't marred by the games poor presentation.

You really dont even need to level up though, if you just keep getting gil, up ur guns so they will be so powerful you can kill enemies before they even notice your there. Also, i did kind of like learning about vincent's past in the game. What really made me mad is when they showed Yuffie's face for the first time, it kinda looked like a man's head. lawl

Well first off i do adore Vincent because of this game, on the other hand this game has so many more cons than pros. To make my post short SE should've actually put the time and effort into this game instead of releasing it immediatly after AC. A lot of people hated the gameplay, i didn't mind since i personally don't play FPS too often but the plot could've been better thought out. Also what bugged me the most were the graphics, they looked more like 2001 graphics than 2005 which goes back to my effort point :/

Which only shortened gameplay time and made beating levels feel like less of an accomplishment.

Besides, some people like maxing things out (me included), and that's practically impossible with DoC.

It's true that it shortened gameplay but you only need the levels unless u wanna melee with limit break, and if you use limit break all the time thats retarded. And i can't even max my level or my weapons on my game because eveytime i go to a level to get gold and get exp, it doesnt save it. So this will be the first game i can't max out on, it ruins my streak.

I was disappointed after all the hype it received. The shooting style was just so direct and boring, but it had an interesting story.

I never play shooters of any kind, so I don't really have anything to compare to. I played this game for Vincent's story, which I think was well presented, so I was satisfied. They could have elaborated some of the scenes a bit more, but overall it was good.
The shooting style was a bit bland, yeah...But I have fun playing Hard and Ex-hard. (Hahaha, suicide...)

I love Vincent Valentine's character so much anyway, it would have to take some pretty god-awful screw ups to put me off a game centred around him. He's badass.
