I just took out two books from my school library. The first is called, "A Place called Freedom" which I believe to be about slavery and trying to free people from slavery.

The second is called "Birdsong", a book about World War I. I don't have much more details, but when I'm done with them, I'll let you all know :)

Dragons Of Summer Flame - Dragonlance novel written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. It's really quite a great read. I mostly only read novels of the fantasy genre, and there was a good side of humour to this book, and all the previous instalments before it. I'm currently a third of the way through this 500+ page novel. It’s quite old, though that’s understandable because I only recently expanded my readings beyond the Forgotten Realms; and then on to new adventures of Dragonlance…

A book called Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz, he has a series and this is the first. I've just finished it actually and I can't wait to start on the next book. He writes really well and you are able to get an exact image of what's going on in your head. It's full of action, a thrill to read :P

Heh, agreed on the Stormbreaker entry by Cloudgurl69 - I recommend it.
Final Victim by Stephen J. Cannell for me right now. It's... interesting. It's about a genius psychopath who commits murders with intense planning - no one can catch this guy. Two cops from extremely different backgrounds get involved and try to hunt him down. Intense, non-stop action, I can't put it down. However, there's intense language and some really sickening stuff in there.

I'm currently reading The Year The Gypsies Came which my mum bought for me. :P I'm about half way through, after just one day. xD! It's a good book so far but I think I can predict what's gonna happen. 0_0

I'm finishing up Three Kingdoms (commonly known as Romance of the Three Kingdoms) attributed to Luo Guanzhong. It's the fictionalized version of the Three Kingdoms period of ancient China, and it's VERY interesting. It's a long book, too; it's split up into four volumes of about 200 pages a piece. It has a ton of characters and a lot of action. It's also the basis of the Dynasty Warriors video games.

I'm reading Wicked by Gregory Maguire. The book can be very graphic at times and shouldn't be read by children. The stories alright sofar but it is boring at times.
