What are you currently reading?

Well the last book that I read was Memoirs of a Geisha, by Arthur Golden. That was quite a few months back.
I just recently ordered Bram Stroker's dracula in the mail, so that will undoubtedly be my next subject.
I also bought Jurrassic park too. ^.^

Mr 47, Beowulf is the first ever English prose, translated by word of mouth for possibly 500 years, now go and read Seamus Heaneys translation!

No, do it now....

No stop reading the forums... go on... go, run!

Those are both excellent books. I hope you enjoy them. :D

I'm currently reading The World's Major Languages by Bernard Cromie. And I just ordered The Princess Bride from Amazon. I absolutely love the movie and I've been wanting to read the book for awhile now.

I have heard the name Beowulf mentioned so many times, but I don't quite know what it is about.
Well?

Just started The Visitor by Lee Child
n Beowulf is an anglo-saxon or viking story methinks.

I'm currently reading Canapes for the Kitties by Marian Babson which is a horrible murdery mystery book but I really want to find out how it ends. There has never been a book I haven't read cover to cover even if it was really bad

In short, Beowulf is an epic. :monster:

I'm currently reading Candide by Voltaire for summer work. I thought it was going to be a pain to read, by my is it an enjoyable, and easy read.

Mein Kampf, by Adolf Hitler

And no, I am not a nazi, nor do I support any Nazi ideologies, I just find stuff like this interesting. I also really want to read the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx
