I thought that rather than just another thread with screenshots and replies such as "i cant wait for dis game it luks cool lolololol wen dus it cum out?", we could maybe actually have an intelligent discussion about it.

So what are you hoping to see from Crisis Core? Are you just interested to see the insight into Zack's past? Or are you more looking forward to the sane version of Sephiroth?

I'm one of the ones who looking forward to see more of Zack, since he was pretty much a total mystery in FFVII.
It's going to be good to see more of G and what he was all about too, since there wasn't much about it in DoC.
 
Naturally I'm interested in young Aerith ^_^ and how she was and her relationship with Zack. Sane Sephiroth and young Cloud are also intriguing :)
 
I'm definitely looking forward to see the "sane" Sephiroth. I'm also interested to see some interactions between Zack and Cloud and the sad ending.
 
I really am looking forward to this game. I am looking forward to seeing "sane" Sephiroth and I hope it's the same voice actor as in AC as I think he portrays Sephiroth very well. It looks like we're going to see Sephiroth loose it aswell. The game will probably have a sad ending because we all know what happens to zak(if you go to the Shin-Ra mansion sometime on disc 2 :)).
 
I'm really looking forward to finding out more about Genesis! His character at the end of DoC was just intriguing and I can't wait to see what kind of tales will befall him, how he was created, how him, Angeal and Sephiroth all got their wing, etc...I'm also extremely anxious on finding out more about Zack and Cloud's friendship throughout the game. As you can see from the game, the two got pretty close, especially from the way Cloud's reaction was at the end of the trailer in regards to Zack's death. I'm also interested in finding out about young Aerith and her relationship with Zack <3
 
I am interested in seeing more of Zack, but honestly what really makes me excited about CC is the whole thing with Genesis, Angeal and Sephiroth, and the moments between Zack & Cloud (and no, not for yaoi reasons).
 
im interested in seeing more of aerith, obviously in her younger stages whens he was with zack. also its cool to see sephiroth before he went evil. and as someone said before, the ending to this games gonna be sad, but im expecting it to redeem the final fantasy VII franchise for all of its earlier crappy spinoffs.
 
Actually im expecting more the storyline than the gameplay .I love the storyline of final fantasy 7 a lot so i just want to see the before story of angeal ,sephiroth and genesis. And of course Cloud and Zack
 
im looking foward to finding more out about zack since u only really heard about him a few times in ffvii and of course Genesis, Angeal and "sane" Sephiroth. In regards to the gameplay i hope the battle system is slightly like ffxii and not turn based or anything
 
Fanservice, fanservice, and fanservice. Oh, and also a load of crap with perhaps a smidge of good storytelling.

In other words, a really fun game that totally butchers FFVII.
 
The battle system isn't going to be turn based. It's a new system called the Digital Mind Wave (DMW) System. Not sure how it works, but so far it's looking good.
 
First of all, I'm looking forward to seeing a SANE Sephiroth. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people on here with that. And also, a more in-depth story based solely on Zack, who was hardly discussed in FFVII. Plus, younger versions of Aerith and Cloud and the great graphics that were shown on the Japan version. Basically, I'm really wanting to have some money to buy the PSP and CC.

The official site has tons of videos on all the characters and about 4 videos showing some of the battle system. It's worth checking out nonetheless.

Also apparently one of the Turks, this one girl named Cissnei, seems to like Zack or something because after Zack goes traitor she fights him but right before it she says she's sorry. I believe somewhere through the game Zack has a relationship with more than just Aerith.
