Judge Ghis

Seeing as I anticipate this more then any other FF title coming out, I am eagerly awaiting the FMV's, as I know they will be much better then 10's :)

I also await the new Gameplay system, the English accents, and of course, the characters, especially Basch, Vayne, Vossler! :D
 
I know how you feel I really am lokin forward to it aswell. I have heard that aside from all the graphics and gameplay and all that stuff the Storyline is supposed to be a very good one and that is what counts I think.
Also I wish to see how connected to Tactics Advanced it is. Since it is set in the same world apparently.

So yeah Storyline is what I am most excited about.
 
Im looking forward to see the connection to FF TA (which I happen to be playing atm) I know its in the land of Ivalice and there are the Judges too, the battle system in FF XII looks unique,apparently "semi-turn based" from what I heard and very simmilar to XI's. Seems very promising.

However Im really looking forward to FF VII: Crisis Core the most, It will be great to see how it is to be in SOLDIER and not to mention Sephiroth is in it, so we will get to learn more of his character before his darker days.
Im also very curious to learn about
Genisis
and his connection to Sephiroth.
 
While many aspects of FFXII intrigue me, the biggest mystery to me are the identities of the mysterious "Judges". I remember watching a rather humourous music video on youtube, which depicted scenes of the Judges accompanied by John Williams' "Imperial March" from Star Wars.

But yeah, I'm also curious about who our main antagonist is going to be.
 
I'm really looking forward to the new battle system and the characters most of all. The characters look so cool and the battle system is looking like a whole new experience so I'm really looking forward to those two. But of course the game wouldn't be worth playing without a good plot, so I'm hoping the best in that department as well XP
 
I am looking forward to the new battle system. A more realistic battle system has been the main thing lacking in all recent FF games. Though they seem to be experimenting at the moment. XII is supposed to be similar to XI and XIII is supposed to be something entirly new so obviously square is trying to find a new battle system they can keep for quite a while like they did with the ATB system.
 
I'm quite glad of it. This new battle system seems to have more action and movement to it that the ATB system which was bassically pick a command and watch. But I still loved it because it needed strategy and such. But a load of people I have spoken to (who have tried Final Fantasy VII- X) have said that the only downfal lwas the lack of action in battles.
 
I look forward to a high level of acion. I do hope it is real time because I did find the old ATB system to be too lacking in neccessary interaction.
Meaning I could just lay there playing it with one hand while reading a book.
 
A friend of mine who played the Japanese version of FFXII told me not to expect much from it.
He said the storyline was alright, not as good as he expected.
 
But we're all different, we'll either think the storyline is rubbish, good, or the best. I'm hoping it will be the best :)
 
Yeah, I hope so too dude....
I hope the gameplay is good, and I really hope my friend is wrong about the story being mediocre....
 
Like I said, don't worry about it, that other persons worries should not affect you getting into the game.
 
well teh battle system is gonan be like final fantasy tactics. only 300 times better. also from what i have seen in trailers and teh pics i saw online here. this game is gonna be a step forward and one hell of a stepping stone for final fantasies to come.
 
I'm quite excited about this Final Fantasy, and I'm hopeing that it doesn't get post poned in release! I'm enticipateing that it may be one of the best ones yet not just on graphics alone but on though of how complex it looks ^^
 
I like the new battle system. It's more free and realistic - pretty soon we'll have actual people and we can control computer generated images of the life-versions of the person.

Steve Burton, anyone?

But really, it's going to be a fantastic game, I think.
 
I have the japanese version. The best part so far was the characters, battle system, dancing mini-game.The story has some kinks that need to be worked out in my opinion. (Plus, getting your party to react propperly sometimes is really time consuming)
