However, half the fun is in trying to interperet what has not been explained. I like the fact that everything isn't explained - it leaves room for imagination.
thats true but for things like whos the main character they should tell you :D

I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline, even the part about Tidus being a dream. I remember how confused I was at first, then understanding it as the game went on and being thrilled to visit new places to unravel more of it.

The only annoyance was the end. First of all, Yu Yevon was a terrible final boss, I though. Secondly, I felt extremely dissatisfied at the end when Tidus disappeared and that was it. Though he was annoying, I had a soft spot for the kid.

I know people diss FFX-2 a lot, but I was very happy when that came out and I was given a much better and suitable ending (the good ending), and I felt like the X-sega was finally complete.

That made me giggle - you have a witty mind :P Yes, they should tell you those things ;)
thank you I do have witty mind and I can't see a reason why they can't tell you who the main character is or characters its kinda piontless:D

I thought the storyline was pretty good myself. It's got the typical FF 'couple' thing going on, and plenty of twists in it...
it was also nice having Tidus narrate it.

"...This is my story.."

At least I think thats a quote X3.

For not having finished the game completely yet, I think the storyline is really wonderful. In the concept of the best 'love' theme FF, this one would get second; FF8 being the first. Tidus' and Yuna's relationship was deep while it lasted. Also, I really liked the storyline; as I stated. Having a monster that came back frequently after being destroyed was pretty cool. *nods*

I really liked the storyline, and I can't see why some people think it was crap o_O It was full of surprises which I liked, at some points I was like 'Wha? o_O' And like the above, it had one of the best love themes, I liked watching the relationship between Yuna and Tidus develop.

storyline of ff 10

Was very well thought out and not overly lovey dovey..whenever things seemed to get a bit mushy there was always a big fight right after it so was okay and not overdone....and sin was not easy to beat unless you got the right combination going so was a fun gamethat was hard tobeat first time around :) I say i give it a 9 out of 10 but the games in the game were even more fun so then it brings it up to 9.5 out of 10

The stroy was proberly one of the best that they have done. Must of took them awhile to think about it though. Just for use FF fans though. :D
funny thing is that ff7 was just as fun but the ending made little sense whereas this game you knew what would happen and it made sense:cool:

One of the best story line!! I loved it a lot it really made me emotional and worried over the characters and especially Tidus and Yuna...The ending made me cry, not believing that Tidus is really gone and I hated the idea of it...But it really touched me to the point that I cried really hard and that's rarely happens to me...So, I think it's a great game which is one of my favorite FF games..

*SPOILER* Heh heh I cried at the end too. I couldn't believe he wanted to disappear like that. I think he had to didn't he? But yeah, I really wanted him to stay and got all emotional when Yuna said; "I love you." I was like; "Awww  Pwease don't go!" And then Yuna's speech was really moving too.

Uhh. . .I did not care much about the love issue, but I just enjoyed having empathy for the characters. I thought there were moments where I thought everything went to hell, and I could understand their situation; e.g. the truth of Yevon, the conspiracy with Mika.

I loved it. It was just moving I thought. The way he never apreciated his old man and always showed him off to be some bad dissgenerate. Then in the end you relize the sacrifices Ject made. That alone blew me away. Let alone all the masters plans and the betrayals of Yevon itself. I was suprised at parts, like really shooked that things happened. Thats why I liked the story because it made you think through till the end, and thats what makes a compelling game.
