I've luckily not had that experience.
Living near the forest for 11 years... I know exactly what to do!
Gently brush the centipede off of your leg (so you don't hurt it!) and then get a piece of paper scoop up the lil bugger into a bucket of some kind and then take it back outside--try to put it near bushes/fallen shrubs/trees.
They are scary but they aren't out hunting us so we should just put it back out where it belongs!
Of course, unless you have small children or someone with allergies in the house--if you do you should just smash it, cuz that can be slightly dangerous!
