What do you listen to in your different moods?

Surprised I haven't seen a thread like this...If there is one,sorry.


Anyway,this is about the songs you find yourself listening to in your different moods.Happy,angry,etc.

I pretty much only like depressing music,or music that might you think about the darker things in life;things like One[Metalica],Bohemian Rhapsody[Queen...Like you didn't already know],Mothe[John Lennon]r,or,for more recent music,Congratulations[MGMT],Feel Good Inc[Gorillaz].I guess it just seems more meaningful to me.

So,whatever mood I'm in,im going to be listening to some tragic stuff,and it will somehow work for me.

If I´m realy happy I like stuff like Volbeat-Sad mans tongue. It love the sound and it´s not as tragic at other songs^^

I don´t kow what kind of music I hear in angry or hatefull situations(most times I´m a happy guyxD), but I think it could be Hardrock or some stuff ike this.

On Friday nights after work I listen to my party songs loaded on my PS3 and just dance like a crazy nutter in the lounge room. XD

It has to be really upbeat constantly. XD

Whenever I'm upset or thinking about something that hurt me in the past I always seem to be in the car. Probably because I'm alone and I have time to think.

So I always switch my songs over to something really depressing to match how I'm feeling. I dunno why I would want to make myself more depressed but in some weird way it helps get my feelings out there a bit more and off my chest. >.<

I typically find that when I'm depressed, I just like to listen to really loud, obnoxious music that I can sing along to very badly. It sorta cheers me up to act stupid.

But when I'm in any other mood, I basically listen to rather technical stuff. Mostly Dream Theater and Symphony X.

When I'm in a really pissy mood, I'll typically listen to any of the various Metal genres(Black-Metal, Death-Metal, Viking-Metal)
