Well I have one thing in which I never get a answer:
Well in FFVII, after you was in the lifestream with Tifa and Cloud, you go to Junon to find the huge Materia.

In the city of Junon Cloud say: "I may be mistaken, but... Doesn't it feel like we're missing something?"

I tried very often to know what does Cloud mean but I never get a answer. I asked other people as well but they don't know it as well. Does anyone have a answer of this strange scene?? O.O

I moved your post to its own thread from GD, I think it's better on its own rather than in the 'disturbing' thread. Couldn't think of a decent title though, Ive only just got up...>.>

Anyway, as for your question, I really don't know...if I don't get something in this game I usually blame it on a translatin error xD
 
Yeah they didn't really explain this one well. But think Cloud was meaning that the Sister Ray cannon was missing.

Didn't get it for a while either the first time thought he meant that forgot to equip Materia on everybody and almost had a panic attack. :/

But when Cloud says the quote you can see in the corner of Junon that there is a hole missing where the Cannon used to be when you first head into the main city of Junon.


 
O.K., this make sense, but why:
"...we're missing something?"

I mean maybe it is a bad translation, but this "we" disturb in a very bad way. O.O Maybe this is the right answer but can be more?? Well this "we" disturb a lot for me.^^'
But I am lucky that I now have a answer of this question which can(!) be the answer. Before that I just had 3 question marks above my head. :D

Oh crap, yeah so it was, I don't know what I was thinking of, I didnt even watch thevideo, I was thinking of something stupd Tifa said in the northern cratrer

Yeah, tis the missing cannon, it got moved to Midgar if you remember...not that I even realised til I read it in the guide mind, Im not that perceptive

Yeah. When he turned around and said that, the giant cannon was missing in the background (moved to midgar). A little dry humor, I guess.
 
I can't find where in that video it shows you.... But I know excactly what bit you mean.

As everyone else has said it is refering the the Junon Cannon. I think it zooms in slightly towards the missing space where the cannon once stood.

It's meant to draw your attention to it I think because it was was so blatantly there to begin with, and was there on the world map just before you enter at that time.. And then Cloud says that, then I think there is a cutscene explaining it soon after, and then from then on the cannon is absent from the world map.
 
yeah it was the cannon.anybody notice that the game tells youi the name of the cannon before scarlet says it?when tifa escapes the gas chamber and is running down the cannon it says it right on the side.
 
I didnt notice that on my first playthrough but i did the second time and had to laugh. of course by then i knew what all the hints were referring to.
i also saved it just before hand so i could watch the slapping scene over and over
