What Emotions Did This Game Produce In You?

First playthrough in a while, yet it still gets the same reactions out of me every time. Just without a ton of shock.

When Tidus found out about Yuna's fate, it felt like something was squeezing my heart. Same with the very end. But I did enjoy parts like the FMV "The Spring." :wacky:

Quite a few things (in the plot, that is) made me really angry, though. Like whenever Wakka started being douchey to the Al Bhed or got really anal about Yevon. I also felt a deep loathing toward Seymour every time he spoke. <.<

I giggled at a few parts, too. Like the laughing scene. XD Gets me every time... And whenever I'd walk up to Kimahri and his reaction was just to shake his head. Oh, Kimahri... :D

Who else cried?

Oh my god... FFX's story line was so brilliant, it kept me glued to my TV every time a cut-scene showed up. This is THE ONLY GAME that at any part of the game, I actually cried! At the end... When Tidus is free-falling, looking back at Yuna :sad2:, I started bawling! well, not that extreme, and granted I was only 10 or 11 years old, it still takes one hell of a story to make anyone cry over a game. I never cried about a game before that, or since then... I will always remember that moment, no matter how corny it sounds.

Well i did not cry nor did i feel touched by the ending, i was just happy to have finally completed the game, FFX had an original ending compared to VIII and IX and i liked the dream twist, it's a pity FFX-2 ruined it.

Anyway i guess it's normal people get emotional with well developed games, you're not the first one i'm sure.

Haha don't worry A20, I definitely cried at the end. I cried during some other scenes too, they were just done beautifully. THere are no words to describe my love for this game lol. I'm new to the FF series, FFX is the first game i've played besdies KH. I was so into this game that i stayed up every night until 1am each school night to finish it, haha I didn't do so well on tests that week. But it was so worth it!
And btw I'm 16 and i cried...either I'm extremely sensitive or it was just that good. i"ll go with the latter.

FFX is actually one of the only Final Fantasies I didn't cry over. o_O Perhaps it's because I didn't really like that many of the characters, but even then, I usually cry really easily when something is sad. Eh, it must be the Tidus factor. Anything with him in it just seems hilarious. :P

Ah this game made me sad, I cried at the end, although I was more ased about Auron than Tidus, when he faded it was still pretty sad. I'm a proper wimp though I will cry at anything. I think half the game made me sad...when I clicked that Auron was unsent I was like D: And when Tidus found out Yuna was to die at the Final Summoning and he was a dream It was just a constant :gasp: For me. Damn game is sadder than I give it credit for xD

I did bawl at the end though ...Auron <3

I felt like crying sometimes during this game. There were so many sad parts. This game also brought some nice emotions like love and happyness. I was shocked at the YunaxSeymour wedding and I just felt like going into the tv and punching Seymour out!!

I thought it was one of the sadest, if not the sadest FF game i've played. The ending was the worse. I'm not one to usually cry, but it brought a tear to my eyes. There was some other touching parts that made me tear of for joy and sadness. The game was filled with some mix emotions.

i never cried in this game I'm to manly for that sort of thing? but i was sad to see auron leave my party and then my aeons leaving me that just sucked

I may be a guy, but I'll admit, my eyes got a little watery at the end. It was a shock to me, the thing with Tidus, and I really felt for Yuna. I was surprised I felt that too, since I didn't think the whole 'love thing' really worked very well in FFX. It seemed through the entire game most of the characters were pretty indifferent to Tidus, like it was everyone else, and then just Tidus. After he went away, none of the characters really said or did anything in particular, which made me feel just slightly jipped. I mean come on, they lost two long term members of their party here!

To be honest, I screamed and cried when I saw the pyreflies form around Auron. I cried. Auron was...God to me XD. Coolest member of the party, it was fitting for him to go, but I really didn't want him to. It was like watching one of those awful romantic comedies. Somebody dies and your crying, then the next minute, you find yourself laughing. It was just like that when Auron walked away, putting his hand on Kimahri's shoulder, I laughed, it was awesome. Then I cried some more.

More than anything emotion wise that surprised me, is just the overall feel I get with the game. I play a lot of older RPG's/FF's and I get this nostalgic feeling with them. Hard to describe beyond that. FFX is somewhat new though, especially in comparison to the other games, but I still feel nostalgic with it, which ends up being a big turn on for me. Plus a lot of the scenes were just done beautifully. Could help that the game isn't really all that difficult either. XD

This game made me feel sad, happy, surprised, angry. I loved that.
It's a game full of emotions, of every kind. I felt sad at the end of the game (Tidus... Well, we already knew that he would disappear, but that was still sad; Auron's sending was REALLY a touching moment, he's my favourite character of FFX) as well when major plot parts were revealed (Sin being Jecht, Yuna's destiny...), angry against Seymour and Yunalesca, but there were also happy moments, and the plot twists really surprised me more than once.
I don't think this story is the most original ever written, its strenght is to take some well known elemnts and put them together perfectly balancing them. I think it can be harder than coming up with a new, fresh story, because you have to give the audience something familiar, but making it seem unique.

The love scene... It was very tender, but I also found it sad. I mean, they love each other, they kiss, but they know that soon, too soon, this will end. I found it bittersweet, wanting to say "but it's not fair!".

At first I couldn't stan Tidus, I really hated his attitude, but towards the end of the game he really becamo more and more likeable (to me, at least) and I was really glad to see that, in the very end, he accepted Jecht as his father. Another bittersweet moment.

The first time I played throught the game I didn't finish it. But I got an appreciation for the game. I couldn't stand Tidus his energetic moves and talk. But when I joined the forum and read the commands I wanted to try the game again. So I did and now I am on the first boatride.
I gotta say, the graphics are awesome and the overall feel of the game has improved quite alot for me. Now I got more respect for Tidus. He just lost everything and is trapped in this new environment. He has no reference to the past whatsoever, except maybe blitzball and zanarkand ruins. I really feel sad for him to be a loner in a completely strange environment.

Hmm touched i guess, the part at the lake with that beautiful music was so awesome. I didnt let any tears flow but i was moved by it. And in the ending when Tidus dissappears it was kinda weird. I must admit FF has to best endings ever. And the plot in the end, even auron was allready dead, that was too weird.

But what i felt the most was frustration.... You can return too allmost all chamber of the fayth.. Except for Shiva and one more that i forgot.... but to get anima i needed those treasure chests, but i forgot one.. 3 guesses wich one that was. uhuh yes indeed Shiva, so i never got any of the bonus aeons, only yojimbo. But still the game was awesome and that is just a small part of the game... the story line is way more overwhelming.

Even though i'm not a big-time player of FFX (my younger bro is though!), the ending scene was one of the more emotional moments of the entire game... The part where Yuna popped through Tidus when trying to bid farewell was so touching but the most heart-rending one was when our friend finally reconciled with his dad Jecht with a high-five...

In short, this game is epic and one of the best ever!

:):O:sad::sad2::'(^_^:lol::sad2::woot:

All sorts as you can see ^ :P (And probably even more!)

Scenes that made me happy are the ones with Yuna and Tidus having a good time with each other. :D

The ending was sad. I know a lot of people who cried. :P

Seeing Sin was pretty awesome too like the one when they're on the boat from Besaid to Kilika and it gets attack by it.

I only really swelled up at the end, where
Tidus says to his dad just how much he hates him.
I don't know why it did, but it just made me go. It's probably how Jecht
goes onto say, "I know"
. It's like WTF but I don't know, so heartbreaking as well.
It doesn't really tag the heart strings as much as it did, but I find that part quite powerful.

Oh, and the Mi'hen Operation w/e it was called... the aftermath of that. D:
With Auron like, "Many stories ended here today..." -- That went through me like a knife! Just the amount of loss. It makes you realise. Along with the Kilika Sending, just how devastating Sin is.

Also, I never felt so motivated to get into battle
with Yunalesca, the whole scene before... with Auron and the party with their lines... I need to go find them!!
. That really got me ready to go into battle.

So overall,
throughout the game I felt...
Sadness, devastation and motivation!

There's way more, I just cannot think right now. ^_^

This game for me was the most unemotional. IT was great fun to play, but the others have much more emotional stories.

This is actually my favorite game of the entire series, second being FF7! The most simplest way I can answer this question is that I was like, "Whoa," in a good, breathless sort of way. Everything about this game was amazing from its story to the characters themselves. And for once, NOT A LEAD BROODING PROTAGONIST!!!

The ending was sad, which is why I'm happy they decided to have a happy ending in X-2!!

Wish they made a CGI movie of this like they did with FF7!
