What Football teams do you follow/support?

the mighty glasgow celetic football club no other football / soccer team comes close to our achivements (man u we won it first lol ) :L
 
Rangers fan here. Unlike my opposite above this post I will not refer us to "Glasgow Rangers" as it is an incorrect term to distinguish us with other teams with similar names. ;)

And as far as no one coming close to Celtic's achievements, well Rangers hold the record for the most league wins (51) and trophies won in the world (109) and I even got a ticket to the UEFA Cup final. :)

Well being from Greece i support A.E.K Athens F.C One of the 3 biggest teams here, the one with the less titles, but with legit history if you get the point to that ;)
Apart from that though I'm not really a big fan of Greek football during to bad Teams.

I will go for Juventus :woot: in Italy, Liverpool in England "You Will Never Walk alone!" and that's pretty much it :P

Can't wait for the Chelsea - Juventus and Inter - Manchester match :gasp:

For football (american) My favourite team is the Indianapolis Colts. I've liked them ever since i first started watching football about 6 years ago.

Favourite football team (England) it is Manchester United. Favourite player is Christiano Ronaldo. Love the Portugal team since Canada doesn't play in the world soccer tournaments :P
 
Depends on the league I suppose. Us yanks have the liberty of picking a favorite from each. So, here goes -

Premier - Chelsea. Carefree, wherever we may be, we are the famous CFC...Too bad my dad is a Man U fan...blegh

Serie A - Tough. I like Fiorentia and Roma both for the same reason -- BATISTUTA...BATIGOL!!!

Bundasliga - Bayern Munich. Donovan plays for them.

French - AS Monaco or Marsailles...anyone but Paris St. Germain

Scottish Premier - Hearts

Argentine - River Plate

I think that about covers it

Manchester United

A powerful and huge team.
Been supporting them since i took interest in football, was probably back when I was about 5.
Players like Giggs, Solskjær and Scholes makes this team perfect.
(Note: Solskjær doesn't play anymore, he couches the juniors if i'm right)
They've been loyal to their team and proven that age doesn't always ruin your skills in football :P

That's unfortunate. So just how much have you had to up the dosage on your methadone to make it through these past few seasons?

Ah, the Seacocks. It's been hard these past seasons, but at least I can proudly say we're improving, not declining. Unlike a certain dvision rival...

Who's going to start at RB for y'all this year? And how many WRs do you have, better yet, healthy WRs? And furthermore, when was the last time Hasselbeck did something?

Uh... I can't think of anything else to bash y'all about. But in all honesty, if you're team can stay healthy, they have a good shot at winning the division. Good luck.
 
Meh, after 5 straight division titles, I can handle a bad one. And it's easy to improve from 2-14, then 4-12, then 6-10, then 5-11....

Julius Jones had the best per carry average of his career last year, and now that our receivers are healthy, Burleson, Branch, Engram, plus the addition of TJ Who'syourmomma gives us the second best receiver corps in the NFC. We'll be all right. The last time Hasselbeck did something was in 2007, when he was healthy and had healthy receivers to throw to. 4000 yards and 28 TDs.

Yeah, we need some help on the O-line, and our LBs need to show up to camp. Re-signing Ken Lucas wouldn't suck either. You're right though, staying healthy is the key.
 
football (american) would say the steelers.

but the good football (english), LEEDS UNITED ALL THE WAY since i was about 4 ive been a fan and seen them through the bad times, went to wembleylasyear for play of final where we lost, and will go again this year if we make it :D

Viborg FF in Denmark. They're currently playing in the second best league after moving down last season, but it looks like they'll be back next season. Even though they've been a little shaky in 2009 so far. I've never been able to get worked up over big teams like Manchester United and Barcelona that I don't have any kind of regional connection with. I will watch them on TV because they play great football, but I would never call myself a supporter and would stop tuning in as soon as they stopped playing well.

I moved to Australia a couple of months ago though, so now my local team is Adelaide United. I haven't been down to see them play yet, but I will go check them out as soon as I get the chance :)
 
I'm Aussie, so my "football" would be AFL (Go Collingwood!)
But for football/soccer, I go for Newcastle United. :)
 
I don't like soccer.
But my favorite American Football team is the Ohio State Buckeyes.
(College, I don't like NFL)
 
Arsenal, mainly because the football is really enjoyable to watch. GIVE ME A TROPHY YOU GOONERS!
