What game did you buy last?

I just traded in a shit-ton of old games (got about £40 for them in all, which was pretty good going) and bought Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes for PS3, since it was on sale...and because Fusionist advertised it so well. Curse you for making me spend my money! :gonk:

If you hate it, it's not my fault! :gasp:

But if you don't mind outrageous characters in a fast paced hack n' slash game with itty little RPG elements, it should be pretty fun :wacky:

I actually picked up Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time for a little over 10 bucks the other day on a sale. Never played a RaC game before, so interested to see what it's all about.

Whelp today I just preorderd Hyperdimension Neptunia,I think the story is cute even if im not a rabid fan of the whole still face thing hey for the preorder I get an art book and playing cards I wont complain...Radiant Historia and Phantom Brave for the psp...also prepaid for the 3DS today as well.

I got Resonance of Fate last week under the recommendation of Martel. I haven't gotten around to playing it with things starting to heat up for me at school...but I can't wait to start it when I finish school in late spring. I'm nervous about how it might be a little difficult to get into with the controls/gameplay...but overall its gotten good reviews so I'm really excited :awesome:

Shadow of Memories for PSP. Absolute WIN. <3
I think it's known as Shadow of Destiny in some other countries.

I bought Assassin's Creed and Dragonage: Origins yesterday, AC because I have AC: II and AC: B so needed that to complete the set, and DA because I wanted to give it a try and the second one is out soon. Killzone 3 will be my next buy.

Recently downloaded Persona 3 Portable and started playing it, and holy shit, I love it. I was somewhat skeptical about them removing all the cutscenes, but it played out very well. The PSP version of Persona 3 is definitely, without question, the definitive version of the game.

Marvel vs Capcom 3.

I'm quite enjoying the game so far... basically been playing online against Damon; neither of us have ANY idea how to play the damned game, so it's been fun. Quite a few of my favourite Marvel Characters are in the game. I'm quite glad that Phoenix is ridiculously powerful, but only if you know how to use her, and if you don't get hit - her HP is shit.

Bought Call of Duty Black Ops when it came out back in November. Game blows IMO.

OK, maybe not that harsh of a review, but I enjoyed Modern Warfare 2 way more than Black Ops so I took it back. Just not what I expect and looks more like a cartoon rather than a war game. Probably will stay away from Treyarchs games in the future. Just not my style of games.

Resonance Of Fate

This game is truly amazing (Yeah I'm a sucker for Tri-Ace games). The battle system took me about an hour to figure out, but still learning here and there. Each battle is different from the others, and damn they are hard.

The overworld map looked pretty stupid from the beginning, but I love how they actually tried something different. It's fun and challenging trying to find each Hex to widen the overworld map.

And of course the music, it's not the best I've heard, but I love when your fighting, and the music builds up when you do an Invincible Action or a Resonance Action, all in all, I am enjoying it

Star Ocean: The Last Hope

I didn't intend to buy the game but I got dragged out of the house to go shopping the other day and I wasn't going home without getting something for myself, I got the game so I would have at least something to look forward to when I got home and I only heard a small bit about the game so I wanted to see what it was like and so far I am really enjoying it so it kinda makes up for the 6 hours of shopping

The last game I bought was Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. I was rather disappointed to see that neither Gambit nor John Talbain were in it, but hopefully both will become downloadables.

However, I was psyched beyond belief to see Amaterasu! Okami is by far the most beautiful and awesomest game ever created, ever, and now my favorite wolfess goddess is tearing everyone apart with such move variety and doing so with the artistry faithful to the game she hails from. And her theme, the remixed version of 'The Sun Rises' is shear epicness!

Fallout 3. Decent game not really impressed with it or anything, quite enjoyed it but it didn't make me feel hooked throughout. That was about a year ago, I haven't brought anything for a while!

lesse.. the last one I bought was Disgaea:Afternoon of Darkness

Its fun but I hate starting a completely new game since my damage is so low...
(misses Disgaea 2 where I was level 8467 dealing 150k per punch T.T)

Ar Tonelicoll - Not played it yet and have no clue what it is about but I'm very eager to get at it. So if you will excuse me... :awesome: I'll be back to update this post once I find out more about it.

Dead Space 2

This game gives me the creeps. It is much scarier than the first, and more challenging. Just beat it a couple hours ago, time to start my new game+

DO NOT PLAY THIS IN THE DARK

I baught Bioshock 2.

I didnt see it as gripping as the first one...the first one was more....pulling to my eyes.
And I saw the story a lot more engaging too.

Well, my Premium Edition of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together on PSP arrived today, complete with soundtrack CD of awesomeness, a nice little artbook (I love these things, the Lord of Arcana one was awesome as well...too bad the game was shit) and a 50% off voucher for Vagrant Story, which I'll never use, given I already have the game. xD

Also pre-ordered Hyperdimension Neptunia (again) from GAME, since you get a delightful artbook with it :lew:

FF: Dissidia actually. It's only just become available on the PSN Store and since I've got a PSPGo I've only just been able to get at it.

Actually better than I thought it would be, and I'm quite looking forward to the next one, as I've grown rather bored of FFXIII and it will be nice to play as Lightning for a while again.

Also bought Savage Moon randomly after playing the trial. It's basically a flashy tower defence game with a few added ideas, such as needing to buy an upgrade, in order to upgrade towers...

By the way, I've come across screenshots and gameplay videos of Hyperdimention Neptunia recently, does anyone from the US have it already, is it worth getting?

Comes out here tomorrow and I'm tempted to pick it up considering what it's meant to be based around and from what i've seen so far.

Mass Effect 2.

I wasn't sure when I was going to purchase it, though I knew I definitely would - GAME still had it in for £40.99 though I was just browsing in general rather than looking specifically for ME2 then I went to Gamestation and saw they had it on a deal for £24.99 so it was a definite purchase considering the price gap :rage:
