What game did you buy last?

More recent E-Bay purchases:

Final Fantasy IV for the DS
Arc the Lad Collection for the PS1

I got IV because my lady has a DS and has only played FFIII and FFX. So I thought I would expand her experience. And the Arc the Lad Collection was a game I wanted since I was a kid. I don't know anything about them and don't even know if they are good or not. But I got it for a total of $30 for 4 games spanning 5 discs I believe. I think it was a good buy.

I just bought Mass Effect off Steam. I have absolutely no intention of playing it any time soon, since I'm playing through several other games at present, but it costs only £2.50 off Steam at the moment, so how could I resist? It comes pretty highly recommended though so I'll probably get round to playing it after I've finished Dragon Age.

The last game I bought was Dissidia 012, which I'm still working my way through. I'm currently on Kain's first story, and wanting to train him up a bit. I find it difficult fighting as Kain. A lot of his attacks seem to require for me to be perfectly positioned. But then, I'm rubbish at this game. In the first game I was a level 100 Cloud and I got beat by a Level 1 Chaos. That is the sign of a true gaming loser. XD

The last game I bought was final fantasy vii from psn the day before it was down I was so lucky. Its a really good game I have not compleated it yet but im not very far.

The next game I want to buy is final fantasy criss core or kingdom hearts birth by sleep.

I finally got around to ordering my games last night on Amazon.

I ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops and Mortal Kombat. I am disappointed with the psn thing though. I would've loved to have been able to do the online parts of the games..but isn't a big loss. I'll play through as much of the story lines as I can and then hopefully the online will be up and running again. I'm sooooo excited though...I haven't bought any new games for my ps3 in awhile....months probably. :gasp:

I went into GAME yesterday, ended up walking out with Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection on PSP. £19.99, plus 1000 additional points, plus it was the limited edition. Booyah. Yeah, that was partly why I ended up buying it, and not just ignoring it like I should have. xD

I also preordered Alice: Madness Returns and Dungeon Siege 3 (which, for some obscure reason, has a cheaper special edition than standard one...) whilst I was at it.

Went out with a co-worker after work and he showed me this little obscure game store. I was able to snag a used copy of Little Big Planet GOTY for about 17 bucks. I probably could've found a new sealed copy for a few bucks more at a department store, but they always run out of stock D=

I need to stop buying games though. My backlog just keeps growing ever more :ness:

Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Star Ocean: The Last Hope International and Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition.

The first three I bought on Tuesday. I mainly bought FFIV for the same reasons as Martel! Prince of Persia was a bargain at £10 and I'd been looking for Star Ocean for aaages, only just seeing it then. And I got the Ultimate Edition of DA because I've finished the game and would really liked to have played the DLCs. So now I can!

The last games I bought were: Tales of Vesperia (Xbox360), Tales of the Abyss (PS2) and Rogue Galaxy (PS2)

They're all Japanese RPGs. I've only ever played Tales of Symphonia in the Tales of Series so I decided to pick up a couple others from the series.

Rogue Galaxy I had heard a lot of good things about.

The last game I bought were pokemon black and white version from the ds and it was yesterday.. I want to play it today but I am tired so I just hope it will be a good game...

Even more recent E-Bay purchases:

Rogue Galaxy
Dragon Quest VIII
FFVII: DoC

I have never played Rogue Galaxy so I thought I would try it. I always saw it in game manuals for other games I got. DQVIII is supposed to be good according to a friend and I like the Dragon Ball artwork. As for FFVII: DoC, the only time I played it I got half way through it. I want to beat it and finish the story. Though I don't remember being blown away the last time I played it.

I bought Halo 3 the other day off Ebay. When my Xbox 360 broke, I decided to cut ties with anything dealing with that console (I've replaced my Xbox at least ten times), so I sold all my games.

After a year or so, I caved and got another Xbox 360. Now I need to get games for it again. lololol

Other recent game purchases:

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour
Mario Power Tennis
Pokemon Black

I just got L.A. Noire and I'm pretty crazed about it because it's so unconventional. It's not a shooting game, it's not a heavy-action game... it's a freakin' noir movie you can play and it's insanely awesome. I'm a noir lover, I can't help myself.

I bought L.A. Noire and Mass Effect 2 during my last visit to GameStop. In the two weeks since, I finished Mass Effect 2 and am halfway through the other game. Both have great stories and can't wait to finish LA Noire as well. It's a great concept and a great departure from all the shooters I've been playing lately.

Grabbed inFamous off PSN for free, but I also imported BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger from the UK for the PS3 (it was 7.85 pounds; roughly 12 Canadian dollars I think). I'm still seeing it for at least 30 bucks at retail, so I swooped it up when I got the chance.

Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, off the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Oh god, I am SO excited to be playing this again. This is to me what Ocarina of Time is to almost everyone else - THE definitive Zelda game. I doubt it'll be as challenging now as it was when I was eight or nine years old, when I'd spend hours wandering around wondering what the hell I had to do, but...eh. So looking forward to this :yay:

Last one I bought was Red Johnson's Chronicles or something. I like point-and-click adventures, and this one seemed pretty cool.

Also, LOL, Darkblade started this thread. Oh memories.

Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection and Wipeout Pulse, both for PSP! Didn't so much buy them as get given them for my birthday, but hey, new video games all the same! And now that I'm finished with essays for the term, looks like I'll be spending a lot of time glued to the PSP.

Waltzed into Gamestation and the first thing I realised was that there were far more preowned games on the shelves than there were of new copies. I suppose one should expect that sort of thing from a chain that loves to buy your old consoles and games, but surely with so many preowned stuff and so little room, they can hardly have much shelf space for new games. I saw hardly any "new" games in the PS3 section bar the Top 10 bestsellers, though I did come across Assassin's Creed 2 hiding in the corner for a modest £15. Heard of the game a lot, but never really tried it, so for £15, I suppose I may as well get it today and try it out soon, but I've a whole waiting list of games to get through first including Star Ocean, FFV and FFVI. Hopefully I might actually like AC2 enough to get some fun out of it, but seeing as hyped up games rarely ever translate into real fun and love for me (it's usually the lesser known, very little fanfare games that I end up loving), I won't be too enthusiastic yet. I'll try it out sometime in the next few days, but I need to get through the Purgatorium on Star Ocean first...and it's annoying.
