What game did you buy last?

What does one think of it? Was it on offer? What platform did you get it for? etc etc :)

I'm actually having so much fun playing it. :O I picked it up from Cex in Cardiff second hand for 360 and decided to use some MS Points to get the Hearthfire DLC and that's actually very much distracted me from playing the main story. I've just been earning a ton of gold through doing side quests and hunting so I can build up my huge-arse manor house.

Several months back, I got myself Oblivion, since I couldn't afford Skyrim at the time. Well, not so much being unable to afford, but I wasn't sure whether Skyrim would be worth the money. Needless to say, I really enjoyed Oblivion, so having finally got Skyrim, I found that it's very much the same game, but improved in so many places. It has almost everything Oblivion has, but better, as well as throwing in a load of nice new features. I plan on buying Dawnguard or Dragonborn in a couple of weeks, so I have a feeling this game is gonna keep me occupied for months. :monster:

@Draklor - Funny, I literally bought those two games today, lol.

So, I bought Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS) and Ni no Kuni (PS3). This will be my first experience playing a Fire Emblem, so hopefully it'll be a good one. Although I've heard that it can be frustrating at times... lol. Still not sure if I'll play on Classic Mode or Casual Mode. I don't like the idea of my characters dying and being gone forever. :/ So idk. I'm gonna play it right now! :3

Ni no Kuni - I'll probably play that towards the evening. I'm looking forward to a brand new RPG experience and an interesting storyline! So we'll see.
That's what makes Fire Emblem special, though. You build a deep attachment to your party because in addition to them having their own character quirks, if they die they're dead. None of this KO but revive with 1HP at the end sort of thing. It makes you play a lot more tactically, and a lot more carefully.

OT: Physically, I bought a preowned copy of Samurai Warriors Chronicles for 3DS. It's a great game, though I feel like I'm ignoring some functions due to them being attached to the touchscreen. That, and I've played the same sort of game so much I'm able to play without failing, even though my characters are weak, lol.

I also ordered a copy of Warriors Orochi Z from Amazon. Waiting for it to arrive, can't wait >.> I love Dynasty Warriors and such, and the fact this game apparently has 120 unique playable characters is going to make it a lot of fun for me. I also love the reviews on Amazon by people who...aren't bright. 1-star because it's Japanese, not English. Funny, you'd expect a Japanese game, set in Japan, developed by a Japanese company, to be in Japanese... or at least, I would.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you on that. I feel like somewhat of a cheater playing on this mode since it's more tactics friendly... lol. I was thinking of starting up a new save file for Hard Mode/Classic Mode just to compare the difficulty. We'll see how that fares me. xD

I got one of my tax returns today, so I ordered Ni No Kuni, Dishonored, LBP-Karting, and Togf for my pee ess three.

I have no clue which one I'll start playing first. Part of me wants to plat BL2 but :(

I'm so happy to have some new games, it's been awhile.

Bought NieR today.

I'm kinda sad that I didn't pick it up sooner. I only just started playing, and I love it already. Also the music is always a plus.

I just returned BL2 at the game place today and I got Tomb Raider :ohoho:

I'm veryyyyyyyyy excited to start this game as I've only heard good things about it. The only meh part I've heard is the multiplayer, but I wouldn't really buy a game like this for it's multiplayer anyways :lew: Hopefully I can start it soon. The OCD part of me would really like to finish some of the games on my backlog, but I just might bite the bullet at some point and put it in.

Keengdumb Hartz, Dweem Dwop Deestants :wacky:

I'm actually REALLY enjoying this game! Unlike quite a few of the others in the series, it feels like it belongs, because IT IS a legitimate part of the story. I'm already thrilled with it and I can't wait to see how things turn out, cause it DOES lead into Kingdom Hearts 3

I got tomb raider and KH DDD from lovefilm, as for the last game i brought, got FFXII RW from cex, not played it yet :wacky:

Hmm.... The last game I bought, It HAS to be FFXIII, the reason Why I bought it was because my old copy cracked, and I am GOING to beat it before LR drops!

I bought the Sega Ultimate collection for the PS3.
Lewis Big Casino and I are going to play through Shining Force 2 together which is part of the collection :D It's his favourite game so I promised I'd give it a go.
I'm actually looking forward to it, it seems like a good game and I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Plus the collection has a lot of my old favourites from the Sega Mega Drive like the Sonic games :D

Yakuza: Dead Souls

I didn't really buy it, just borrowed it.

Always wanted to the play the game, and I like it so far. The gun controls are a bit awkward to get used to at first, but it works.

The last game I technically got was FF XIII-2. I traded in Borderlands at the game place and I got FF XIII-2 so I can authoritatively bash it from this point on :wacky: I only paid $10 for it so I can't really complain too much if I don't end up liking it. I have yet to put it in but hopefully I'll get a chance to this weekend, and if not hopefully this week.

The Last Remnant (360) why because I was in the middle of level grinding JUST YESTERDAY and my disc decided to say screw me and not play anymore. So it pissed me off and I decided to call a gamestop and tell them hold a copy of the game for me....took my last remnant disc and broke it into lots of little piece and trashed it. that same day got the game again for no more than 10 bucks so where all good now.

Chaos Rings and Ticket to Ride, both on my iPad! =) Chaos Rings is pretty good so far! I haven't played through much of the story...but the beginning reminds me of The Hunger Games. :lew: The gameplay is similar to Final Fantasy, with a few puzzles here and there and the option to have paired or single attacks in each battle. =)

Ticket to Ride is a board game on the iPad which I have been playing with Peter. I had missed board games! =)

Uncharted 2
PS3

I am going to give this game another go... well...I have never actually played this game but I did play the 1st and I didn't like it very much so I decided I didn't want to play the 2nd or 3rd one either but now i have changed my mind. I managed to pick it up for $19 which is pretty gud. I am hoping I like this game... I hear good things about it all the time.

I just got the Bioshock Rapture edition and Bioshock Infinite in the mail today...I have no clue when I'll get around to finally playing them because I have so many other games I haven't finished :wacky: With Riptide coming out next week I'm sure they will be shelved for awhile, unfortunately.

Fire Emblem: Awakening
3DS

I just bought this game from the shop. I am looking forward to playing it. I've been reading up about it and have heard other people talk about it and it sounds amazing. It'll be nice to have a new game to play on my 3DS... it's been a while.

A bunch of PS1 classics: Xenogears, Final Fantasy VII (second copy), Final Fantasy Origins, Final Fantasy Chronicles, Final Fantasy Anthology, Tekken 2, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
