What I dislike about this game

It was a very quick game, but it wasn't meant to be long. It's another one of Squenix's filler games. The all girl line-up and dress spheres were new and were able to be experimented with and I'm glad they did it in a sequel instead of a real game in the main series.

I don't even want to get started on what was bad about, so I tell you what was good: nothing!

This game just seemed like a way for Square to cash in on the people who enjoyed FFX, because let's face it, it wasn't very well put together. The storyline wasn't even very good, but the company got my money, and in the end, that's all that's really important to the CEO's, isn't it?

I wasnt a fan of the chapters or the change in Yuna. I liked the introduciton of Paine, she was the best character going in it. I think Rikku had far too much to say.

There should have been an item called a ball gag you could get about halfway into the second chapter that would make Rikku unable to speak.

I did not the story that much and the fact that tidus has hardly anything to do with the game

I think should get see or at least play as him

i liked both of the games a lot...maybe because ima girl and liked that there were 3 chicks instead of it being coed... a lot of guys dont like the game just because the main characters are all girls... well i love that fact, the songs, the chapter thing is kinda dumb, but who cares! im glad that they made another one, i would be mad if they didnt...leaving me hanging at the end of X... im happy that yuna and tidus are finally together... it makes me smile :)

One thing I did not like about FFX-2 is the fact that I thought FFX had a good ending and was not like a "fairy tale" ending. Instead they had to ruin that by making a crap sequel. It seems way too girly to play. Watching the opening intro I was cringing all the way through. As someone said about the save points healing is just stupid. It makes levelling up in FFX to FFXII very easy.

I liked it better when they told one tale through 1 game and then that was it, nothing more to it but with Square Enix completely milking the FFVII, FFXII: Revenant Wings and now with the Fabula Nova Crystallis, doesn't seem like it will be going back.

WHat i didn't like about the game is the character selection, no wait, there WASN'T a character selection, only Yuna, Rikku, and Paine, and i also disliked the huge difficulty increase after you play for the first few hours.

:P that would have been useful in FFX aswell to keep Tidus' annoying voice out of my head. Rikku did say alot though and she was always moaning and saying childish stuff like "Poopie"

Yeah, I didn't really like the chapter thing either. Makes the whole game turn into this countdown thing. The game was too easy...even the final boss wasn't a match for my characters. It only took me one try to defeat him. =/ Usually with other FF, it'll take me about 3-7 tries.

I don't dislike this game as a whole or anything. There was just a few things that I didn't like.

Yeah, it was rather easy. I don't know why but I wanted, really badly, to have all three of my characters reach level 99.

Boy, that was a waste of time. Could have stopped 20 levels back...

Overall, though, I didn't like or dislike the game. I suppose my main reason for playing it was to find out what happened to Tidus. On that note, it would have been nice if Yuna had said his name just once. That whole, "you", "him", etc. thing got a little tired. We may not have known who it was that was featured in the sphere that started everything but we knew who she was talking about.

i didnt like the game at all

the beginning is pretty different and i enjoyed the first part to the game but it wasnt the same magic as X

Of course, this game was never going to be in the same league as FFX, I don't think anyone xpected it to be, I ceratinly didn't.

I think the main thing to keep in your head as you play this game is that SE were really trying hard to come up with something new that would appeal to veteran fans and bring in new ones at the same time

overall the game just failed to deliver the FF experience to me.

turns out you cant have a sequel in the series

but i did like the dress-spheres

Well, I actually like the Healing while you save. It helps save Gil and Tents are sometimes hard to come by. =/. There were Inn's in FFX but...they were mainly for the story line to progress and whatnot.

If you notice there are no Inn's in XII. Healing Save Sphere's took over that spot.

I see using Tents sparingly, and raising Gil for healing Items and Inn's as part of the gaming experience. It also gives the game a little bit more character if there are Inn's rather than just some sphere/crystal making you better. Healing at Save Points is too TOO easy.

Anyways good people, you may have noticed I haven't posted on this thread for months. Simple reason, I got bored with it and in desperation to at least see the rest of the story I used a Gameshark to blast my way through, and was still disappointed. Final verdict: It's shit.

However I may revisit the game soon and spend a little more time with it to give it more chance.....key word there being 'may'.....
