Every now and then a chocobo is given a name and either or both a unique design and personality to distinguish them from the average bird. Out of characters like these, who is your favourite? And why?
Here are some examples to tease your memories, but feel free to appreciate any I might have forgotten or neglected in this thread.
Boko (FFV, Bartz' companion) or other Bokos throughout the franchise
Bobby Corwen (FFIX, technically another Boko but such a creative name).
Teioh/Hyperion (FFVII and World of Final Fantasy, etc)
Alpha Chocobo (FFXIV)
Ambrosia (FFXVI)
Black chocobo chick (FFXV).
Choco (FFIX)
Chocobo Paradise Chocobo (FFIX).
Fat Chocobo / Chubby Chocobo (various)
Chocobo (Chocobo series)
Chocobo chick and Chocolina (FFXIII)
Angel of Valhalla (FFXIII Lightning Returns)

Out of the 'serious' chocobos, my favourite might be Ambrosia from FFXVI now. Not only is her name one of the ingredients comprising the food of the gods in Greek mythology, but she shows commendable bravery and also has an alter-ego in the wild as the super-hero chocobo Whiteheart. But I only wish we could have seen some of that backstory play out in the game itself.
Personality wise, though, of course the cute Alpha Chocobo from the Chocobo subfranchise and FFXIV's Omega Raids is by far the superior bird.
