well if you compare it with FFVII:AC, AC wins over it mainly because of the story line was heaps better

I didn't like it too much. The reason Squaresoft had to merge with Enix to form Square-Enix, which we all love, is because of this movie. It ran them into a hole in the ground

I own it on VHS. It's not that bad, pretty neat storyline, but not all that great either. You'd figure with a name as Final Fantasy it would be relatede to one of the games, but it's not. The Spirits Within!
Compared to FF7:Advent Children this movie cannot compete.
