What time do you go to bed?

It all depends on what I have going on the next morning for me. On days when I don't have anything happening the following morning, I've been up as late as 2:30. Other days I'm in bed before 10:30.

As it is, I've only pulled an all-nighter twice. Both times it was the last day of finals before a Christmas break. The first time; we watched the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, extended editions, back-to-back-to-back.

The second time we did it with all six Star Wars movies.

So I guess to add a question to this thread with that: Have you ever pulled an all-nighter, and if so; how many times?

Interesting. I wonder what the effect would of substituting a few lol's, rofl's and zomg sephiroth iz teh roxors, with a few hours of sleep would be?

What time do you tend to go to bed?
Roughly around 10-11 when I'm on my own. I get bored, so I sleep. If I'm at my boyfriend's house then it'll usually be a little later.

Does it differ on different days? Or do you tend to just go to bed at around the same time every night / morning?
Depends what's on tv :P Usually lie in bed and watch tv for a while, so if nothing's on I'll usually go earlier.

If you go to bed late, what might the reason be?
I would be at my boyfriend's house. He can't go to sleep when I do, and I have trouble going to sleep when he does.

Are you happy with your sleep cycle? / Is it working for you?
No. At the moment it's taking me an hour at the least to get to sleep, and then I'm usually waking up before 8. It makes me need to have a nap during the day. I'm not a morning or an evening person.

On weekdays I tend to go to bed between 11-1. On weekends its anywhere from 1:30-3:30.

Sometimes I feel like going to bed earlier but I feel like I should be doing something. So I spend about an hour just doing something pointless before I go to bed.

It's not bad. But I wouldn't mind getting to bed a bit earlier simply because it means I'll feel better when I wake up.

Yes I have a few times.

The longest I ever stayed up was when me and two friends stayed up 48 hours straight. By the end of it, it was actually ridiculous. We went to a gaming cafe and I was nodding off during the loading screens. After that we went back to my house, one of my mates called his parents to come and pick him up. He decided to wait out front. 2 minutes later I look out the window and I see him asleep in the gutter. This was when we were younger, we tried it again a few years later and it was a lot harder.

During the week usually around 3/4am, wake up at 9am.

On weekends it's usually around 6/7am. Friday nights I go out and don't usually get home before the sun comes up. Saturday nights I work and don't finish until 5:30am. I work in a bar.

I've never been a big sleeper, so that's a large part of it. But I tend to get distracted playing games or watching movies when it's late at night. I procrastinate about sleeping something fierce.

It could probably be improved on, getting more sleep would be good for me. (I guess. haha) However, if I put myself to bed I just lay awake and drive myself crazy with boredom. So I'm not entirely sure how to make myself just fall asleep at a normal time.

Bedtime? I thought that was an urban legend. (Doesn't sleep at all, save maybe for an hour every couple of days.)

I asked in the SB if a thread existed, but people weren't sure. I'm sure I might have seen one somewhere, but I can't find it. So here it is in case there isn't.

Answer as many of these questions as you want.

Just some questions to get people started, but you can add whatever you want.

I'll answer myself at a later date.

Oh man, well, usually I sleep between 10:30-1, but since summer, I've been doing a lot more of the "NAPTIME! Then coffee thing" soooo it's been pretty sporadic, haha.

So, now I'd way between 12-3. Sad life. I've been trying to sleep earlier, but I just couldn't. I've tried tv to get me to sleep, but sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't.

So yeah, awwwkward sleep cycle, but hey, I'm not too concerned - so long as I get at least 7 - 8 hours. Otherwise... I'm a morning monster.

@ Kimmieeee - I totally feel for you. I'm neither a morning nor an evening person as well (*゜―゜)

I used to be able to fall asleep at around 8-9pm when I had a steady 9am job... but after I left that, and looked around.. and got a different job that started at 2pm, I started sleeping in.. which wouldn't make me tired till much later.

I can sleep for up to 12 hours a night, but then it won't make me tired for a substantial amount of time... Right now. That job has effed me up sleep wise, I can't get to bed any earlier than 11pm now.. if I try, I just lay away restless until maybe midnight now.. =/

Same here!

When I was in school, I normally went to bed around 11, but my pattern got thrown out of wack when summer hit. I've already stayed up all night 3 times, but I've been trying to get some shut-eye around 2 or 3 in the morning.

Watching AMTV did help for awhile, but now it just keeps me up even later. I'll almost be asleep, then a song will come on that I love, and I'll just have to stay up and watch the vid -___-

2:00 AM to 3:00 AM, it helps being homeschooled and being able to so school when ever you want, but I have started going to bed earlier lately like 12:00 AM...-ish...
