I clicked other, mainly because I have a combination of things I'd like to see...
[rant]First off; what is with all of these shirts and skirts/shorts/skorts for girls that look like they're the size of headbands and/or seem more oriented towards either sluts or prostitutes? There are too many people who sell themselves as it is; there is no need to encourage it to teenagers of all people by putting up as much revealing clothing for sale as possible. Not only that, but it seems like in order to wear any young women's clothes (that's not maternity wear), you need to be a freakin' twig! I mean, is it really necessary to sell more clothes that are size zero (yes, there is such a size) than clothes that hit double-digit sizes? I doubt it; most people around here, both men and women, are at least somewhat overweight (myself included, I'll admit).
...and what is with the 'gangsta' style? Sure, you want to dress like your favorite rap star. However, how the hell can you tell the real gangs from the wannabe juveniles? Nowadays, it seems near impossible without trying to pick a fight with them. (From what I've seen and heard; the real gangs will fight, the wannabes will find some sort of excuse to not fight or, after trying to pick a fight with you, will either run off or curl up into a ball and start whimpering as soon as you accept their challenge.)
Does anyone remember the 'gothic' style? I'm pretty sure you do...however, nowadays it's evolved into whatever the 'emos' wear. Gothic elements along with boys in girl's pants and whatnot. I personally liked the gothic style, though never had the funds (or was really influenced) to go all-out with it. Now look; for the most part, it has been transformed into the usual garments worn by millions of teenagers who claim to be nonconformists. ...uh huh...not conforming in the least.
Last, but not least...shoes. I'm sure everyone likes a nice pair of shoes to wear during an outing. However, there are two things that bother me; 1) I can almost never find a good pair of black shoes 2) when I DO find a good pair of black shoes, they are never in my size! I have womens size 10 1/2 - 11 feet for cryin' out loud! I'm pretty sure that myself, along with others who bear large feet, would appreciate having good shoes in the local stores that are not three sizes smaller than their real size.
