Ok, so I'm sure we all have accounts alllll over the internet, I know I bastard do, Captial one, FB, Bebo, Myspaz, asda online, paypal, amazon, ebay, u2 website, online banking...yeah you get my point

Do you remember all your passwords/usernames? I cant remeber my username for the U2 site, but I remember my password, but I cant get my name emailed to me because I needed to sign in in the first place to change my old email adress...xD

It drives me up the wall trying to remember all these things - it's frustrating to say the least, if its a new one aswel Im fucked - actually I have more a problem with my usernames than passwords tbh, my latest one, I had to trawl throguh my emails to find out what my fucking username was, then I get to the damn payment and its asking for ANOTHER password AFTER I'D ALREADY PUT LIKE, 2 IN ALREADY

IT'S LIKE TORTURE

Im forever getting my passwords wrong - I have several so I have to go through them all before eventually I get it right, it does my fucking head in

Just fancied a rant :ness:

Yeah it's annoying. I've got numerous passwords floating about. The worst one is Paypal. I find that everytime I log into Paypal I have to change the password because I can never remember which one of my passwords is the current one. Last time, I go to log in but couldn't remember the password so I figured I'd change it to another one I use often. When I go to change the password it says I can't change it 'to the current password'. That's right, I tried changing it to something whilst complety forgetting thats the right one anyway! :gasp:

I always use the same password, and it's one I've used for years so I'm not going to forget it anytime soon. Usernames aren't usually a problem for me, since they're usually similar wherever I go. I have a good memory for names and passwords for some reason...

Some of them require numbers or to be different lengths, that's what confuses me most, like, is it the pass with or without the number and I get it wrong every bastard time, or you cant have the same password twice or in the case of Asda, its a pin number, which is about the only one I never get wrong because I used that pin as my old till code so Il never forget it

I still got my email address wrong though, apparently, I didnt change it to my new one

I dont like it remembering my passwords, Im paranoid :wacky:

Also Moons, you're a tit xD

I'm much the same, having the same or similar passwords for everything and easy to remember usernames so neither are hard to remember, and any I do forget are quite easy to track down in my email inbox.

I usually try to write all my passwords down. There have been times when I would forget to write them down or forget where I put the paper (thats why I have them all together now..well most of them.) I get very annoyed when this happens.

Im really bad about forgetting my usernames one some sites. Most of the time I can remember some of it, but I forget if I used a certain word or number in it or whatever. Then I have to sit there trying everything I can remember. If it takes me to many tries, then I have to wait 5 minutes or whatever before I can try to log in again. That gets very annoying. ;( I can get really aggrivated about it.

Then there's the times I forget which email address I used. It was bad when I used to have around 30 different email addresses. It's not so bad now since I only have around 8 or so. Only 1 I use,but the others are extras incase I need to use them to sign up on something that already has my other email address and can't log in with it since I forgot my username or password. ;p

I use about 4 passwords for different things on the net. They vary depending on what kind of site it is. For example my password here is a lot more simple than my password for my internet banking. What I usually have trouble with is remembering my login name and that is really bothersome because most websites I visit only have a forgot your password? feature, not a forgot your login name? feature. -__-

I never write my passwords down, since I lose the bits of paper -_- I use the same three passwords for everything, changing them around sometimes. It ticks me off when a program says my password isn't secure enough.

WELL IT'S WORKED FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS, HASN'T IT?!

I have around 4 passwords for several different sites, all of which I'm not going to forgot because I've used them for that long and even if I did forget, which is doubtful I'd just get the email telling me to reset :wacky: I have more problems with usernames >.>

I always use similar passwords or similar numbers on the end of passwords so I never forget them. My computer login password is like, 25 characters long because I'm totally paranoid about my parents snooping around on my PC. Having to type it in every day is what has made passwords easy to remember for me.

I just get the numbers mixed up sometimes >< Or if I have to have numbers in a username for a site - like eBay - I always have to consult my email to remind myself how many numbers is in the username if I log in from a different computer ><

I used to have about 3 different log in names and a different password for each individual site.

However, in about the last couple of years or so when I tried to visit sites that I didn't regularly visit, I found that I couldn't remember my password or even my username sometimes.

Now that I only use about 5 sites at the max, I've either remembered my usernames and passwords and changed them both to what I currently use. (assuming the site allowed me to change the username too).

If I couldn't remember, I made new accounts, because I even had some of the sites linked to email addresses that I had shut down years ago.

I've now made it easier for myself by having the same username everywhere and similar passwords. XD

I don't use the same password for everything, but I have a few standard oneds that I'll use. If I need to remember them then I can usually guess which it is based on when I made the account (I kind of go through password phases) but since nobody else uses my laptop I generally set it so that it remembers my passwords for me.

I try to keep them all long and somewhat simple so i don't forget what they are. I usually write them down beforehand, in those cases i KNOW i'll forget later on where they go to. I get mixed up quite a bit when it comes to logging on any account i have.

I'm sure there is some account SOMEWHERE that I use to have but due to my bad memory.......... >_>

I mean overall, I'm pretty good when it comes to my passwords I have them all basically the same so that it's easier for me to remember.

I mean nowsdays anyways.

I never been good about my username tbh. Dunno why either. Like I KNOW I had the password to whatever it was but wouldn't lemme login due to me forgetting.

ah well xD

I tend to be a very forgetful person so even though it is recommended not to use your same password over and over I still do it anyway. However I do make small yet easy-to-remember adjustments to occasionally as a security measure. But for the most part I do keep my password the same for almost every account I own. I don't normally go through the password problem too much though because I just stay logged in the whole time on most websites I go to.

I just use the same thing for each site. It is very un-safe, I know :brooding:, but it allows me to sign in effortlessly and I am a lazy bum :griin:

It's the usernames that I sometimes forget :ffs:
Then I have to go and check my blasted email repeatedly for them to tell me what it is again :sad3:

I tend to keep all my passwords fairly similar. I always write them down on a piece of paper and keep them all together in a box so that if i ever go.."wow whats my password" i can just check the box for it. It comes in handy when i run into problems like that.
