Question pretty much says it all?
I remember last E3 they had tons of news the day before it even started... now we havent heard a beep. Are they even attending?

Yea, they're there. You can check out this list if you want to know what they brought to E3 this year. It's honestly not very impressive at all. The last few years they've been pumping out new titles like crazy. All the games they've been working on for years just happened to come together at the same point. But now we've got another decent sized gap til we get anymore good content. Also, keep in mind that Squeenix always has it's own little events and usually shows more content during TGS in September

I saw their list on IGN and I'm positive that there is going to be nothing on FFXIII. This kinda disappoints me as I am mostly looking forward to FFXIII and we really haven't heard anything big in awhile except for 2 confirmed characters (Which only one of them has a name).

FFVersusXIII has even less information. I am getting frustrated.

If they show nothing on FF13 I will be superdisappointed.
I just hate how the gameindustry, specially in japan shows trailer for their games like "this is what we get next". When in fact its years and yeeeaaaars until we get it. So a big middle finger to Square for that.

I couldn't have been more disappointed with the whole thing. There wasn't anything that was really amazing or built up well. Sony and Microsoft both said "You know what's coming... just buy it when it does" and Nintendo had WiiFit which people will by in the millions and never ever ever fucking play because it's the most ridiculous piece of software ever conceived.

Usually ever year I'm more hyped about E3 than Christmas, my birthday, or walking into my house at night to find 2 hot strippers in my room.

However, this year I've got no interest in E3 hardly at all. I haven't looked at the preview of games, watched coverage, or given a shit about the whole convention in general. Maybe I'm just losing my gaming touch...who knows.

Hideo Kojima is so far the only bigname japanese developer that knows how to treat his fans and do PR.

He was there. BAM - new trailer on the PSN store at once. Game a little delayed? Early 2008 we hear? Well hopefully a worldwide simultanous release will make us feel a littl better, and yes it did.

I think that if you're solely a PS3 fan this E3 would have been a little bit dissappointing. But if you're solely an RPG fan, there was always Mass Effect.

Mass effect is already overrated. People praise it like its the saviour of the world, but has anyone even tried it? All we see are trailers. Bioware ain't that good at making rpgs.

I would say it was a disappointment for Microsoft and Nintendo aswell. Sony looked best but it still was a poor show in my opinion.

That's not true. Microsoft showed a new trailer of the japanese roleplaying-game Lost Odyssey created by Sakaguchi's Mistwalker. They also gave us a demo of Blue Dragon and a trailer of Eternal Sonata. But I agree with you guys, it disappointed me that Square Enix didn't show anything from Final Fantasy XIII.

Well we have the Leipzig Convention up next but I doubt there will be anything on FFXIII there either. Tokyo Game Show is our best bet for next FFXIII info.

I liked Neverwinter nights. Bioware have some pretty high rated game such as Baldur's Gate, Jade Empire and KoTor.

You can't really compare a western rpg to an eastern rpg. They're both different.

As for E3, well, it's E3. It's in America, so of course American games will be hyped. The companies (xbox, ps, nintendo) are showing off their exclusive games with their systems. Each company showing off games that most people want to see, so the systems will sell better. I'm sure the next Tokyo Game show Square will release more info about their upcoming games.

Ask how many who wanted to see Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings over the 2 PS3 Final Fantasy titles.

I can put my hand up and say, I did not want to see Revenant Wings.
