Which Character do you hate the most from FFVIII?

I dislike Squall. His attitude make him completely unworthy of being the game's hero.

"Oh look, it's Final Fantasy's version of Angel." *yawn* I'm not surprised the same voice actor played him in Kingdom Hearts.

Being "brooding" does not make you mysterious, it makes you dull.
 
Rinoa all the way. god shes just pure annoyence. always having to rescue her dumb self. Id have to say shes the very first i hate out of all the final fantasy characters out there!
 
Ugh. Rinoa's sole purpose in the game is to be annoying.
Her entire backstory consists of forming a rebel group just to piss off her father.

It's almost worse than the rest of the cast having the exact same histories.

There ARE NO voices in Final Fantasy VI-IX. No Final Fantasy for playstation 1 can speak so youve left me in a state of confusion. Unless youre playing some sort of PC version then i might understand.
Other then that i havent seen a playstation version with the characters that speak.

He said the voice actor for Kingdom Hearts. Squall is in Kingdom Hearts, and is voiced by David Boreanaz (who is Angel).

With that being said, he/she mustve meant something different by that stupidifying statement. Which means that there must be a spin-off retarded google video, or something else.

Anyways, hated Selphie...her good attitude and everything was nice, but her jumping up and down and running ahead annoyed me.

They're histories were different?


I think Zell was the most normal character.
Wait...they were all typical teenage kids.
No outstanding characters, no wacky outlandish FF trademark personas...nothing.
 
No, their personalities.

The only two truly alike were Squall and Seifer, but what made them unique was their dreams. Seifer wanted to be a hero...a knight. Squall just wanted to left the hell alone and serve the Garden.

Take things step by step for the rest of their lives...for as long as their together, a team.

Just a seriously naive character that didn't belong. You know, the type of naive tree-hugging idiot that believes there's not an evil soul in the world. I don't know, I just did think he fit into the game or any other FF for that matter.
 
Agreed. In fact, their personalities were the only things that made them different.

I hated all of their personalities. Like I said, Zell is the only semi normal kid.
 
I particularly disliked Sorceress Edea. Although an alright villain in essence, she was far too blazé for me, and seemed far too stereotypical.

That, and she was a horrendously weak boss, ESPECIALLY for a Soceress. :dry:




On a side note, Rinoa's one of my most used characters, even if her personality rags at my patience.
 
Hmmm I personally hated Quistis, but always used her on my team for her blue magic.
And Selphie was a typical pain in the neck, but I used her for her limits as well.
 
Selphie was always a royal pain in the ass! I hated her attack, her weapons and her general presence...Good limits though XD
