I agree Basch is up there in the level of maturity, but you don't see him speak very much throughout the game...
Balthier seems to be the most in tact leading man. He's also the most characteristic, outgoing, outspoken tell-everyone-what-to-do guy...

What would you expect, after all Basch went through? All that crap toughened him up like... like... someone who's been toughened up after all the crap they've been through.

I would say Larsa, but he's not up in the pole vote so ill go with penelo.
She is responsible for her age, speaks her mind, she is not a serious as Basch, but being serious dosent always mean someone is mature...im a prime example.

well , basch is a serious person but he can handle with all his crappy history of disloyalty and stuff, and he got good answers for them.

that's why I think he is the most mature. I would vote penelo too but she appears too little.
 
I say Vaan is by far the most mature...well okay not really, I voted Basch although I think he's pretty much tied with Balthier and Im not sure about Ashe

Once you hit the top, you can't go beyond it much. Basch's the most mature I say.

I agree that Basch is more mature than anyone else in the party. However, I voted for Ashe because she is seen a lot more times in the cut scenes than Basch, and so far she's proven herself to be mature in my eyes. Also, she is only 19 years old and that's pretty damn mature for her age! Now Basch is in his 30's...so it's kinda given that his character would indeed be mature-like. So I voted based on age. :P Granted, they're both very mature, but I really had to give to Ashe on this one.

yeah i have 2 say basch (i think i spelled his name right) becuzz he doesn't mess around and when i played he was the best out of the whole group but thats just me! probally next would be fran then ashe then balthier then vaan then penelo

my first choice was balthier but i would prefer bacsh now but he doesnt understand people well

i cant believe that fran is in second position she isnt mature she just knows a lot she never shows emotion exept at shiva when she went beserk

this just reminds me that the characters in ff12 were too serious
ff12 didnt give you a laugh never
there was no comedy in ff12
 
I voted for basch for the same reason everyone else did. He has a Auron type of quality to him.

he's NOT the same as auron, dun say that kind of stuff. Auron was guilty of his pathetic past..and also in the end he becomes weaker mentally when the pyreflies reveals his past.

that's not the kind of guy that Basch is.
 
I never really thought much of Basch, hes not Auron like(c,mon Auron was a total badass). I thought he was going to be all hard and stuff like Auron, you know, the wise old guy in the group, but it turns out hes pretty much on the same level as everyone else except he just never talks.

Bacsh seems to be the most mature IMO. Fran and Ashe also come close. I persoanlly didnt think Ashe would have been as mature as she is.
