Which character would you put in XIII?

In light of not so recent posts, I'd most definitely like another dragoon. They usually take a back seat to the main character, but having a Highwind in the driver's seat would be most gratifying.
 
I would put someone similar to Squall and Cloud's attitude...you know, someone kinda aloof and secretive but very clever and handsome. (Unlike Tidus and Vaan). The character has to be around 21-23 years old. ^_^
 
you need a character like Nanaki as one guy put it on page one.. maybe his great grandson... as this rpg seems to be more techno then the other final fantasys he could come in silver/blue .. he could be called RED XX

Personally I'd like to see a character that has the same capabilities as Beowulf, from final fantasy tactics. I loved tactics, the gameplay just seemed so real, It's actually my fave. FFVIII is actually my second fave, and I really hate how all the characters from FFVII hog all the spotlight; It makes me hate them >:( They should die for it. I bet more than half of you have no clue who Beowulf is. Beowulf was beast, magic swordsmen kick ass.
 
they should put a young ultimecia in it.. rising up to evil things.. let at this stage during when the games set she is just a child...
 
i'd like to see a crazy character like Rikku
a char who is really serious, and can't laugh, bit grumpy, like Auron, would be pretty much the "leader"
and some other Char who brings the others into trouble, and acts without thinking, much like Tidus
 
I want to see another character like Red XIII. Not necessarily an animal really, but some kind of character that is wise beyond his years like Red XIII, and a fighter like Auron.

sure, but it's ok to keep the characteristics ya? like some dude who's as cold as ice as Auron(when on pilgrimage with Yuna, since he was dead he didn't have any emotions)

or a crazy girl like Yuffie, or a guy for that matter

or a guy who thinks he's funny and cool like Reno(FFVII: AC), with a comedic tone on it, ofc

so well... old characters with the looks and names, of course not, but their characteristic... sure why not?

but ofc, with every similarity with their own added characteristics(is that even a word?)

Yeah, that guy from page one's pretty cool. I've met him in real life, his name's Stefan. The ladies are always all over him. He's also got an IQ of, like, 150. That's what my sister told me, anyway.

The name you suggested, though. . . it wouldn't really fit. First, I don't think Nanaki would pass his "slave name" onto his progeny. Also, if they were silver or blue, they wouldn't be red.

You know, for an image of a techno Nanaki, just take a picture of him, copy it and invert the colors. Surprise, surprise. Blue and white. Not far off at all.
 
Lolz. I bet not a single soul besides maybe Arcticflare, knows who the hell Beowulf is. Tell me, do you know who he is?

Yes. He's a "hidden" character from Final Fantasy Tactics. He was a cool guy, with some nasty status attacks. There's also an epic poem written in his honor.
 
If any character should be commemorated in another game, it would have to be Cloud. However...I think the inuendos and relations have been thrown overboard. How many FF7-related games are there now? o_O
 
Maybe Red XIII could be commemorated.
But not like an actual Red XIII...just some kind of inuendo like Cloud's sword in FFIX.
Just a random little thing.
 
well they have already done that they copied names and places like ivalice was also an copy and bhujerba as well and many more things i cant remember right now
i dont like anything to be the same especially not a character
names are fine but not the whole thing
 
No cameo appearances. I would like something like in Final Fantasy IX where Zidane says "I used to know a guy with a big sword like this" refering to Cloud. Other than that though, I really wouldn't like to see a character in the game unless it was something just reminescent of him (Cloud's Ultima blade in FFVIII).
