Which Final Fantasy game should I get?

FFIX definitely. It is truely a great game but goes unoticed to people who aren't that familiar with Final Fantasy.

You should either get FFX or FFXII depending on whether you like the new gamplay system.

Id have to suggest having a look on youtube at different battle systems for XII and any other`s your intrested in .... twas what I did .... XII

IMO you should buy ff10, because it's the longest, it has the best gameplay and it is by far the most customisable, which makes it the most tactical. Or if you enjoy the classic rpgs you should buy ff9 or dragon quest.
