Depends where you are I suppose as I cannot find Zanarkand on the map. I know my geography sucks. :D

Anyway as far as I know the PS3 will definitely be released along with the X360 version. It is only in Japan that it will be a PS3 exclusive and yes Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still exclusive but I would keep an eye on that one because you never know.

I think Japan are getting it about Summer 2009? And the fact that US and Europe are supposedly receiving the game simultaneously (Instead of Europe waiting an extra 4 or 5 months after North America), I reckon we would be lucky to see this game in 2009 at all.

I think the main difference with XIII exclusivity and Versus' was that there was always speculation over whether XIII would remain exclusive and with SE's financial problems at the time, Microsoft took advantage, threw shit loads of money at SE which they couldn't turn down, and there you go, no longer exclusive.

However, they no longer have the financial problem and there isn't nearly as much speculation about Versus exclusivity. Plus Nomura has been stubborn every time he is asked about exclusivity and has firmly said every time that it will remain on PS3 only, and with Nomura being a leading figurehead at SE it would take something massive to make it nonexclusive.

Well, for me I would have to say the PS3 version. I have both systems, but I have been playing Finaly Fantasy for years on the PS systems, so I'm going to stick with it. I play my xbox more, but if I get this for PS3 it'll be all I play. I just want to make sure though, when does it exactly come out?I keep hearing different dates.
 
I don't think theres any difference, actually, just different platforms. I'm not sure about the second question though.

Anyways, I'll prefer to get the PS3 version, if i do finally get my PS3 soon... (I rarely/never play XBox 360 games, other than Halo, that is)
 
I'm most likely getting the xbox 360 version for the sole reason of saving money. When I was watching g4tv and their E3 08 coverage and heard it was for the xbox and not solely the ps3 my jaw hit the ground.
 
Probably both if I can afford them,we shouldn't forget that video games are expensive.
And that's one of the main reasons why I bought a damn PS3,to play FFXIII.
At first I had in mind FFXIII with Lightning,lately though FFv.XIII has attracted me much more so it'll be a tough choice.The possibility of buying FFversusXIII is higher.
 
I really wish i had the money to get all three versions. I hate Sqaure enix for making three games but i also love them for it too lol. I'll get agito for the psp and final fantasy XIII I'll most likely play versus later.
 
PS3 purchase for me, since I like the ps3 better, the controller & ff versus. I don't really like the 360 or it's games, but it's nice that FF is on 360 too so more people can enjoy it :)
 
Choosing the 360, since I don't have a PS3. Well, I suppose it's possible I'd have one whenever XIII comes out, but I probably won't. When I was choosing to buy a 360 or PS3, I was torn between playing games like Halo online with friends or getting a PS3 just for FFXIII. I chose the 360, but I'm sincerely glad they're going to go multiplatform with his after all.
 
im getting both for the ps3.

the game was built for the ps3 in mind, and will be scaled down to crap for the 360. You will gain more of the full features media-wise from that system unlike GTA4 which was built on the 360 framework and looks just as crappy on the ps3 as it does on the 360.
 
PS3 for me. Not because I don't like the 360, but because Final Fantasy just doesn't feel right on anything other than the Playstation.

It would be like playing Halo on the Wii
 
I heard somewhere that their going to have ffxiii agito for PSP> I wish I had a xbox or a ps3 but I dont I only have a PSP so I guess I will have to get for the PSP if its for it.

i heard that too thats y im getting the agito one and also cuzwell i like it better than the other 2 only cuz it reminds me of the turks :D (i know im shallow <_<)
