Who do you think was the right lover for Tidus?

I'm not even sure if Tidus loved Yuna.
he didn't say "i love you" back to her at the end of the game or anything.
Rikku and Tidus had so much in common
and I think they belonged together.

In my opinion Tidus and Rikku kinda had more of a brother and sister relationship. Besides Tidus finds her annoying anyway, remember when they were trying to think of ways to stop Yuna dying in the calm lands? He got ticked off at her.

And there was probably a reason why he didn't say I love you back to Yuna, maybe because he was fading away and no one could hear him? You never know!

i guess you could easily say rikku and tidus belonged together becuase they were so similar, but i could never see them together myself. yuna was perfect for him because she brought out the more emotional side of him, and he brought the spunkiness out of yuna. they compliment eachother well, and are perfect for eachother.

how did u get three picon ur thingy and yea yuna man if she was real she would be hot

ok so...i dont think rikku and tidus... id say tidus and...
lulu... its the way i played it :D

Kimahri all the way!

On a serious note, probably Yuna, afterall that who he did actually fall in love with and they seemed to realy like each other..

I love Rikku, don't get me wrong, but I think Tidus was better made for Yuna.

(Off-topic) Hahahaha, i have to agree with u there... Throw in a really nice sports car, like the Nissan 240SX she's driving in NFSU2, and u'll have all the guys in town drooling over her!

Oh ya, don't forget a change of wardrobe also, to make Yuna more "contemporary"... Just ditch that Summoner garb and replace with the usual modern clothes like a tanktop, jeans, sneakers (for easier driving), as well as her jewelry and voila, u have easily the hottest chick around with the most beautiful car!

It's quite obvious who would be the right girl for him. YUNA - why? Well, here's the thing - he actually WAS in love with her.

Hahahaha, now that's something really interesting... Tidus and Auron is unexpected! :D

If you can think of it, I can almost guarantee that someone's written it (and if it's not canon, all the moreso.) Fandom is a wild and weird thing!

The interesting thing is that the game gives you such different scenes with Lulu or Rikku if you give them extra attention, almost encouraging you to see a Tidus/Lulu or Tidus/Rikku relationship.

Of course, Lulu's "I'll put you on my list... good luck, little boy" isn't exactly flattering or encouraging.

Rikku, though, after bapping him for flirting with her, says, "Maybe someday!" in Al Bhed.

Yet no matter which of them you get for the alternate cutscenes, it's still Yuna by the end of the game.

I could see Tidus/Rikku working. I don't think Tidus/Lulu is a happy thought. He'd be Chappu-but-lacking, making her unhappy, and the power dynamics in the relationship would be dangerously uneven. Then again, I worry about Wakka/Lulu.

One thing that's a HUGE difference between the English dub and the Japanese, though: at the end of FFX, in the original game, all Yuna says is, "Thank you," not "I love you." Arigato. From the look on their faces, it's clear she means something else, but it's more subtle.

i wouldve liked to see a yuna and lulu ending... wouldve said rikku and yuna but they are related so thats wrong... isnt it?

wow... yuna can be subtle??

sorry didnt mean to double post... previous post didnt come up straight awat so i thought it hadnt posted then changed what i was going to say... i am sorry

Great heavens, someone else who thinks that Yuna and Lulu would make a very believable couple?

I may need to go take an aspirin for shock.

I find it so easy to imagine them nesting somewhere twenty years down the road, Yuna having to drag Lulu away from writing their memoirs to go deal with some crisis in Bevelle, and Lulu saying, "You go, dear. You certainly don't need my advice to handle those fools, and if I go, I'll take Maester Wakka's head off for getting mixed up in such nonsense. See you in a week."
