Who ever beat that creature that chaed Selphie, Zell and Squall down the hill?

like the person above me
I gave the robot spider a GF treatment
but I also draw cure from it (or was it another thing anyway )
after the GF treatment I was running like there was no tomorrow

Nope. Can't beat it. It's impossible unless he has like, a ton of HP like, more than Omega. 'Cos I cheated after beating that game 4 times over from the beginning and Squall did maximum damage and after I hit it and I saw 9999 damage flash across the screen, I'm like, "Yeah... This bioch is dead." But then it kept on getting up. Automatically repairing itself immediately. I had to use magic to be able to run away...

I beat him with Quetzacotl but its impossible to kill him only the gun on Quistis' submarine has the capability to do that. Honestly I thought that this was one of the more fun battles of the entire game, Who would have thought fighting a spider/crab robot while fleeing could be so fun. ^_^

I managed to kill him. I was getting pissed off because I was getting so close but he would always regenerate. While I was fighting it my brother looked up the a FAQ and told me the recommended level was 15. I was between 8-12. I just kept with the same stretegy using Quezacotl and Squall attack. Squall got hit a lot so I then I started using Renzokuken a lot and managed to make him stay down. - That took me forever and I had not much time like but I got back with 1 minute to spare.

Not true. If you beat him you don't even get the cutscene. You just walk down onto the beach while Quistis is waiting on you.

I ended up doing it.
Don't ask me how I did, but I actually DID manage to beat him even with Squall as a high level character.

I think it gives you like 50 extra points on your SeeD exam.

You need to fight him on the bridge, the second encounter. It's best to have Quezacolt learn Summon Magic 10% - 20%. Also this boss has 4,800 HP. ;p

i dont think you can beat that boss every time i got it down to 0 it just keeps comming the best plan i jsut to run from it
