Auron's my favourite from FFX, because he's insanely powerful compared to the other characters early on in the game. I also liked his character a lot - the whole mystery that surrounds him early on made him really cool.
You've missed off ome others from your list by the way(Wakka, Lulu and Kimhari) ;)

How long exactly have you been playing this? I don't see Seymour as a main character. More of a pain-in-the-ass, if you ask me. I voted for Tidus.

i liked auron the best, i just like how he is powerful and very mission based. he has a strong will but also let's other people decide what they want to do.

he seems to be honorable and trustworthy, i like that in a character

I always liked Auron. He was always in my party and I trained him the most so he couldn't even get touched by the end of the game.

Auron is the only one with common sense...

Tidus is rambunctious; doesn't think things through.
Yuna is too shy, closed, and softspoken.
Rikku isn't really a main character; she's just there to wear daisy dukes and be cute.
Seymore isn't important at all. He's just a pawn.

Auron, I liked his personality. He was just such an interesting character. Yuna is a close second.

As I prepare to duck from having things thrown at me, I'm going to say Tidus and Auron are my top 2, and I can't really pick an overall winner. Auron for obvious reasons that I know I don't need to defend.

Tidus on the otherhand, I love his role in the game. Is he from the Spira he was warped into? Nope. Does he have to fight along side guardians and a summoner to defeat sin. Nope again. He's there because Jecht wants him there. However, Tidus realizes it's his story (stated exactly 23 1/2 times during the first 45 minutes of the game), and so he readies himself to face his biggest challenge, his adversary and his burden that he's been dealing with all of these years: his dad.

Whoa whoa whoa Busta! Big deal, it's just his dad right? Wrong. Not only is Tidus trying to settle the score with his dad, but he's also helping to save each and every person who is in Sin's path. Don't give me that Tidus is whiny bullshit. He cried when he was 7 or 8 years old. So did you.

His voice reflects his emotion. When he's serious, you hear his narrator voice. When he's hyped and ready for action, you hear his pepped-up voice. It's better than a monotone dueche-baggery mellow main character who wouldn't know what emotion is if it bit him in the ass side-ways.

I liked Aroun and ... uh... uh... oh wait, Wakka got the shaft.

Aroun is great because he carries a big sword. Wakka because I think he's a cool character. Dumb as a stone, but I like him anyway.

I personally liked Yuna because she grew so strong in the game and it was mainly due to Tidus's influence. So yeah, there goes my vote to Yuna. She was the only character (apart from Tidus) who developed so much throughout the game. At first, she was shy and then she spoke to the whole of Luca at the end. That's an achievement. To actually defeat Sin and be able to stay strong when someone you know and love has gone away.

same here and auron is also not bypolar like some of the main people (i am not naming which but ya'll know)

Well out of that selection I only liked Rikku - she was fun and brought some light relief when things got serious.

But to be honest i loved Lulu the most - her character design and personality were so cool.

Leaving aside the fact the poll is missing a fair few people, I'd say Auron regardless. He gives some much needed gravitas to the whole game, and well...he's just pretty cool. Makes a great entrance at the start and in Luca too. It's an interesting thing as well that he's one of the people who helped to defeat Sin last time round, and is Tidus' link to what happened previously with his father and all.

Couldn't have said it any better! :) I like Yuna too because she was actually mature in the game, despite her playfulness with Tidus. (The whole whistling and crazy laughs thing). I did see her grow as a character, and it really touched me. Yes, many things touches me in my daily life, and no pun intended there. :P

You just made me shoot soda out my nose... :| Kinda hurts... kinda tickles...

Anyhow, I do know what you mean. That's part of why I appreciate Auron and Wakka. In a sense I feel that these characters all make up part of "human emotion". Each has a semi-stereotypical role that they play in the game, but on a much deeper level, they represent parts of us. I think that's why we all have opinions on them. There aren't a lot of "meh" characters, unless we completely can't relate to them. It would explain why I'm not a fan of Kimarhi... silence was never my strong suite. But it does explain why I'm a fan of Wakka and Auron because, while opposites, they do kind of describe me in a sense. I can be very serious and somewhat insightful one minute... and the next I'm dumber than a brick. But I'd wager money that most of the people you like respresent positive things about yourself and characters that you're not a fan of might represent parts of yourself that are either negative or barely in existance.

isnt it spelt auron nd yes he is definately my fav he keeps his cool in weird situations its lyk me :)
