FFX-2 Who went all the way trough the Via Infinito !?

I was just asking myself....who went all the way trough the Via Infinito.....if u did....how the hell u did it??? And is the iron duke worth getting all the way down there??
 
i did! but its been ages since i clocked FFX-2!
im gonna have another go at it after i complete 10
 
Just like Soulheart said, if you want it completed, you must do so! It's not pretty fun, but the items are nice
 
Is it the bosses that you're stuck on down there? The "elemental" type fiend is very easy - just use Table Turner, and it dies. XD Or was it that Red Dragon monster? You've just got to avoid him. The first time I ran past, I was so scared that the thing was chasing me because I kept hearing the lunging noises XD

Those are the only things that I was stuck on, maybe you have the same problem? If so, I hope it helps!
 
I did, I did, I did! :D It was not a pleasant journey though. >.> Such a long one, I thought I'd be stuck there forever. And how did I do it? Um, by using a guide, really. My characters were pretty strong enough too.
 
If u have the guide, it shouldn't be too hard but the Iron Duke doubles all of a characters' stats when you equip it so its up to you
 
I went through there, it's been ages since I've played through 10 though. Yeah then you fight that Evrae Atlanta right? It actually isn't a hard fight becuase of the key cammands you can use. This is probably one of my favorite parts of the game too, right when you arrive at Bevelle and crash dumbass Seymour's wedding. The game get's really good after that part. lol
 
I thought it was very simple and easy but as soon as that first dragon lizard thing attacked me at the beggiining i will never look at via infinito the same way

Wrong game I'm afraid :monster:

Anyways, I never did get all the way through the Via Infernito. I made it to the boss fight with that Chac guy and decided to give up after he whipped my but a gazillion times xD I've been meaning to level up and try again, but I haven't had the time.

As for how you get through it, my advice is to be on a really high level, because the higher you are the better. I learned that the hard way unfortunately.. Also, looking at a game guide online never hurts. That way, you'll be able to prepare before you have to go into battle with one of the many killer bosses scattered throughout.
 
Yeah, i completed FFX-2 100% :P

Paragon and MR.T (or Trema), they are a a pain if you try fighting without Cat Nip. Its most likely asking to be destroyed. Yes Iron Nuke is a must, not for the collection but when you obtain it, you can make your character a Tank. Thats very useful for New Game+

Personality this game gets the High Score on the easiest FF ever.
 
Never beat Infinito.
Got to the third boss I think...Or was it the second. One or the other.
Also the FAQ I read on GameFAQs said you didn't need to complete the whole thing for 100%. Just the first 20 levels or so IIRC as you get th eCrimson Sphere there.
 
I'm actually still working on it, for the simple fact that I never seem to have time to play the game much anymore.

Anyways, I've gotten I think maybe down to the 60th or 70th floor, i'm not entirely sure. All I know is that the floor I'm on is a boss fight and I keep getting my butt handed to me. But I plan on making it all the way through sometime sooner or later.
 
I got quite far on the labyrinth. I got as far as 80th room. I had to fight Yunalesca and I tried so many times. I levelled up Rikku and Paine to lvl. 99 and it still didn't work -__-

Then I just gave up.
 
Oh god, I hate the Via Infinito. Just thinking about it makes me shudder. x|

So no, I did not get through it. I think I got maybe... halfway through or so? Those dragony whatchamacallits kept murdering me. :s

Anyway, I did it as well. the Iron Duke is a pretty good weapon, but I was going for the 100% complete.

...only got 97%...
 
I gotten down to the 80th floor then i thought it'll be best if i stopped, i could slowly feel the life draining out of me, it was just so boring the first 40 or so floors were alright i guess but then after that i started loosing interest, plus i kept dying :P
 
VIA INFINITO ROCKS!! :D
i finished it ending my characters all level 99.
i had fun kicking the butt of that elder drake.(the dragon jumping forwards and backwards).
my very problem in Via Infinito is Concherer (level 60 boss).
Trema, Paragon(Lord Zaon) and Chac(Yunalesca) was easy.
Tactics and Patience works. :)
and I NEVER used Cat Nip. NEVER EVER.
These Accesory just SPOIL every opponent.
I can say that this is the real challenge for FFX-2.
 
I think I got bored afew floors down, I though I was doing something wrong because nothing changed.....I might have been doing it wrong.....who knows

Either way it still annoyed me

And I still managed to get 100%

Not sure how that works >_>
