Uh, yes! I've never got to fight the Dark Aeons before and I've been wanting to. I'm going to get FFX HD either way, but I'm hoping that they give us a little more content. Maybe new optional bosses. And redub the game, but I'm probably wishing for the stars asking for that...

Would like to see the dark aeons in this myself. As living in the US, I never got the chance to fight them at all. Though as what has been said as a majority, if they would do them as DLC well then that would be a major turn off. Not even sure if I would buy the game again if they were DLC.

I don't own the international version and I've never played it, just the US version, but from what I've seen I would love to see dark aeons in the remastered HD version of FFX. Personally I loved the dark aeons from FFX-2, loved battling against them and seeing what it was like to be on the other side, so it would only make sense that I would vote yes on this. But at the same time I'm torn and would to just see the original FFX version only in HD, nothing changed.

At first my vote was on the fence with maybe, but in the end I voted yes.

I feel like the Dark Aeons will be included with the game as it should just be the complete edition cause some countries copies didn't have them if I am correct. If they decide to DLC them I guess I would be miffed about it but at the same time not bothered because I never really did that part of the game, so I would just play for the main story.

I'm not sure I'll buy the HD remaster myself, but I do hope that you Americans can get the Dark Aeons, because I really don't think it's fair that you didn't get them in the first place...

I would personally love to have Dark Aeons in the HD edition. It would give me something to work for.

Oh, and I want the alternate Sphere grid. I want to be able to customize my characters as to how I want them , not how the game wants me to have them. Granted you can do that in the original sphere grid, It's just easier to do it with the alternate one.

I basically want them to give us the complete FFX (as seen in International and PAL versions) with the Dark Aeons, Penance, the Expert Sphere Grid, the additional abilities, etc. Or else it won't be worth buying it if you already have a PS2 copy (NA copy).

They can't really not put the Dark Aeons into the remaster, not unless they wanted to make another international version as well. I mean, think about it, all the people who have international versions are not going to buy a remaster that has less content than the original game, that sort of defeats the purpose of a remaster. So I really think it would just be idiotic of them not to include the Dark Aeons.

I certainly hope so. If not, then I might scream. It better not be a dlc either. I still love my ps2 version and don't see why they'd remaster ffx before any of the earlier ones which need it more. I just hope it might get some of the younger generation to see how amazing Final Fantasy was in the glory days. Not that Final fantasy xi-xiv are bad, they just have a different feel. Ever since X-2 came out, the Final Fantasy series has changed dramatically due to Squaresoft merging with Enix.

You're absolutely right. Those with the PAL and International versions would be buying a downgraded copy of FFX without the Dark Aeons in the remaster. What would be the point of that for them? Though I do fear SE making them DLC. I really do.

Even a DLC - who's going to buy a remastered game with content missing that they have to pay extra to get back when they've got a copy already with everything in it?

That's true, that would be incredibly stupid. But honestly, I wouldn't put that past SE. I think I remember reading something that said they believe the future of FF lies within games that have DLC or something like that. Which made me *facedesk*

Will be extremely disappointed if they do not include the Dark Aeons!...It was great going round killing them, usually, with a lot of luck *Zanmato!* :p
It would be great as some people have mentioned about adding in extra content such as new:

New mini games
Extra dungeons to explore
New beasts/creatures to fight
A brand new polished Sphere Grid!
Extra Scenes
Do something more with Blitz-ball, for those who enjoyed it!
And maybe a Sneaky Alternative ending...(even though the normal ending was great, it would be a great reason to play through again)

Getting extremely excited for this release...they better not let me down as hard as they have with the likes of ff12 + 13!! :p
Anyone got an idea of the release date...As I cant find one anywhere!!
:awesome:

To dare is to do...

Yes, I would. Truth be told, the only one I've defeated is Dark Valefor. I found them very hard and challenging and therefore they would be a nice addition to the HD "Remaster" and would add a nice challenge to it and stick a hell load of hours on the save file. Would act as a very nice setup for some silver or gold trophies as well. :)

Of course! To be completely honest I was never able to beat them so perhaps with this new rerelease it will give me an excuse to try again :)

Can't we just focus on fixing the laughing scene? Before anything's added, why not fix what was previously broken? Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

It'd be awesome to open up the Dark Aeon realm to us in the United States who did not get a chance to face them in the PS2 version of FFX.

I always wondered what was so hard about the Darker versions of these Aeon's when I'd see all my fellow FFF mates talking about battles with them. I think from what I've heard through the grape-vine is that Penance (Dark Anima?) has always been the toughest boss in the game. Maybe even more hard than Nemesis the final Monster Arena boss?

I'd love to give it a shot if I bought the HD version of the game.

Dark Anima isn't Penance. Penance has it's own original model (ie not a pallet swap of an earlier enemy).

I remember defeating all of the Dark Aeons via Yojimbo's Zantetsuken but I think I only managed a couple legitimately at other times.
