So, have any of you heard of bit torrent downloaders, and if so, do you use them? Personally, I find them amazing...(shh)I got my copy of photoshop through them, and I'm glad I did since it runs 650 dollars on the shelve. Really though, you can get just about any program ever made anywhere using these things if you know where to look. So the question is, are you a pirate?

I'm a former pirate, just without BitTorrent. I couldn't get it to work. I used BearShare, and got a virus. Which led to more viruses. I ended getting rid of any P2P kind of thing and started running some antivirus software.

I use Azureus, and I'm pretty happy with it. Right now I'm downloading a beta test of a new game not even out yet named "Lord of The Rings Online"...friggin' sweet.

I used to be a huge pirate(got my photoshop in the pirate way as well ;) )
Right now my BitTorrent is gaining dust though, I feel I have to pay for things, so that those who develop it can develop more..

Yeah, i'm a pirate. All of the songs I have, i've downloaded off of Limewire (i didn't pay for any of it.) I also download anime to my computer for free from different websites.

Curse you, I want that beta :(
Im not a pirate, my ex was. The university connection doesnt allow you to use downloading equipment, yet my ex in his first year was able to.

Nice, and the beta is free to get if you go to the main LOTRO website. :p

And limewire=no. It's so horrible.

I use BitLord. Normally on a Thursday morning to get the latest South Park episode and Friday morning to get the latest Scrubs episode. My Name is Earl is starting again so I'll also download that. I'm very inpatient to wait until they will be on their respective channels in the UK as it normally takes awhile. Especially South Park since it is my favourite show and not having Sky until recently made it impossible to watch on TV. I have every episode on my computer. :)

I used to be a massive pirate, downloading anything I could find (with Bitlord) that I thought might be the slightest bit useful. Now I have a bit of a conscience, so no more downloading music (it used to be like, 3 albums a day). I only download Lost now, and AV programs so they keep up to date.
