Will there be a 3D version of FFVI?

There isn't a 3-D version, just a Tech Demo for the PS1, just like the FFVII Tech Demo was for the PS3.

Yes, Moonchild is correct about tech demo of FFVI. It was a test on the PSone, before FFVII.
 
Actually, it was the tech demo for N64, not for the playstation :lol:

They made a few screens of FFVII for the N64 which can be found on the internet, before they moved the project to the playstation.

But, no, there is no 3D version of FFVI, unless it gets remade someday...
 
It wouldn't suprise me if it was remade for the DS at some point but even so the 3D graphics will be limited and mediocre at best. (Like FFIII for DS) ^_^

There never was, it was just a model demostration to test out the N64 whilst they began work on FFVII, it was never going to be intended to be an actual game.
 
If they "remake" it like they're currently doing for FFIV then oh my god, do SE need a reality check.
 
Im sure that they will remake all the games up to FFVI. All the ones that arent 3D. Itll most likly be put onto a portable device aswell.
 
I wish there was a full-blown remake for FFVI, seeing as it was my favorite. Though, I'd love to see it in a style similar to that used in Okami. It would work very well if they wished to put out a FF game with Amano-esque graphics.

But, I suppose for now, we'll just have to be happy with seeing Setzer in KH2, and seeing Kefka and terra in Dissidia. [Uncomfirmed, but, it's bound to happen.]

No I havn't because there is no japanese 3D version. But there is a Game Boy Advance version however. You may be thinking about the DS Remake for Final Fantasy IV though, I could see how you could get that mixed up and what not.
 
Lol, doesn't make a difference to me. I am okay with the platform it will be on so long its created lol.

FF4 ds does have voice-overs, but only in certain cutscenes.

Well aslong there are more side-quests and side-bosses there are in remakes, they are good for me :D.
