Worst character

I can't really think of any main cast characters I really dislike, but I really hate Zorn and Thorn. I found their futile attemps at comic relief to be not funny at all and the completing eachothers sentences thing was just to much Huey, Dewey and Louie in for me. Also, they always popped up oput of nowhere and the only result of their doings was doing more annoying stuff. The only good thing about them is beating them in the fight at Gulug Mountain, what a relief!
 
I'd have to say Cait Sith. His character is weird and makes no sense to me at all, I know he's being controlled by some guy from Shinra, but that doesnt' really explain the moogle thing i mean...are they both 2 different robots? Is there a guy sitting next to Reeve with a laptop controlling the moogle??? Idunno, but I think Square could've done a little better than that... ( and the whole megaphone thing...ugh )
 
Erk...there's too many...probably Cait Sith like RJr said and Yuffie. (Honestly I just didn't like her because she was so annoying...). Everyone else was okay or awesome!

Also...Yuna. Just because I hate her guts :P
 
Cloud and Tidus in my humble opinion.

Cloud tries way too hard to be some sort of badass, when in all reality he's just a whiny little emo git. His voice actor does a damn fine job of portraying that as well. "Not interested" is about the most annoying line of his, simply because he's trying too damned hard.

Tidus, whiny and complains too much. I hate his character more than any character in the series. He has, quite literally, NO redeeming quality.

EDIT: And Yuna, she's annoying. Can she say just one damned sentence without pausing?! What the hell is wrong with her? Is her CD-drive broken or something?

And you can't forget Wakka. That voice... It can seriously drive me up a wall and tempt me to murder. In fact, if I ever see his voice actor, I'm going to fucking kill him!

Not so much with Cloud. The character design is awesome, little man + colossal sword. Arguably the influence on the much more refined Auron.

I've got a bit of a problem with Cait Sith and Quina. I can't take either of the two seriously and when they do find an excuse to spring up during the plot it's usually irrelevent, unwelcome or more likely, both.

But that's just me I guess.
 
The most worthless character ever is cait sith. I didnt want to pull out a FFVII character but i must. Worthless never used it. It is bad all around. CRAP

The laughing scene in FFX is clearly one of the top 10 worst voice acting jobs of all time.

Sure, Cloud's design is awesome, but I can't stand his personality.

As for Cait Sith, Quina, and even Yuffie... Just why the hell are they in their respective games? They're utterly useless, and are annoying as fuck.
 
I have to say Dissidia version Terra and Kefka. Terra was just a retarded kid who didn't know her powers and Kefka was just so damn irritating. In the regular games, I have to say Genesis. Sure, he could have been great, but instead of dialogue, he just quoted effing "Loveless" all the time. ALL THE TIME! Often enough that I could almost quote it myself. Drove me nuts! After that, Judgemaster Cid from FF tactics Advance.

I found Rinoa just... ooooh! Boils my blood! I'm not some insane derranged Squall fangirl (... not that I'm aware, anyways.) but I found her insanely annoying. She stuck out and never really, ever, fitted in. She was like a constant outcast trying to hit on with the 'big guy' of the group, sort of. I seriously did not like her.
I learned to live with it though, as much as she was randomly there and hello what is your revelance to this masterpiece of a story, I still thorougly enjoyed FFVIII. Regardless that she did nearly wreck it for me.
 
I really didn't care for Kimarhi all that much. I didn't really see the point of his character being in the game...it was like he was just there. Plus, he was pretty useless in battle too. I hated the way he talked too..."Yuna look well. Kimarhi glad." Uggh...-___-

well i really and greatly and passionately LOATH Vaan. he always looks like he has a cold, and his chest is all wth!? plus his personality is so...the only word i can think of is blegh. Thats just my opinion, and sadly he is the first you meet in the game D: i think they could have done way better...
 
Kimari or however you spell his name. It's not like I care. In fact, I don't think anyone else ever did, even in his own game. Seriously, he's not interesting. The way he talks annoys the hell out of me (Spoke rite stoopid). He's just there. You wanna know why? Because there has to be some sorta stupid animal thing there in every Final Fantasy. The only reason I don't hate Red XIII is because at least that guy was polite. He never did anything to try to piss me off. I never used Kimari anyway. By the time I got to the final boss, everyone was at level 78 while I left the damn Ronso at 12. I kept him on the sidelines throughout the entire game and I did not miss a damn thing.

I dislike Yuffie as well. I mean (I'm going to be branded as some sorta creep here) I like here design. Given the opportunity, I would do her (and Rikku) eight ways to Sunday, but she's just so damn rude. Go back and check out her dialogue. Everything that comes out of that little brat's textboxes makes me want to slap her. Learn some damn manners you faux-ninja loser. She is whiny, spoiled...well you get it.
 
Rikku, Yuffie, Kuja, Tidus. Not only do all these characters appear as spelling errors on the computer, they all are almost un-likeable in every way and utterly horrid to even talk about for a prolonged period of time.

Rikku is stupid, Yuffie is a waste, Kuja is homo erotic, and Tidus is the shallowest thing I have ever seen. I could move the list on to characters like Cloud, Vaan, and Cait smith, but then it'd take an hour to get done with posting.

I'm pretty sure you are the only person who played the game who didn't know that it was him on the first play through as soon as you knew there was one. It seems like its the most obvious thing that for someone not to know they had to be hoping it be someone else.

Characters I like the least were

Tidus: One thing the way he dressed made me want to vomit. The second thing was his attitude is just way to over the top for the main character of a game. Zidane was kind of like that too, but I thought Square pulled it off much better with him. I kind of like the silent protagonists to be honest. Or the almost silent ones. The main character gets developed so much that having them do 90% of the talking isn't really that necessary, because they are going to be doing a lot of the talking anyway.

Wakka: Well everything about him sucked. The character was a complete buffoon, and looked just like how he acted. Not to mention that his weapon was a ball that he would throw at people or kick at them or something. Honestly I like Geno from Super Mario RPG better then Wakka

Rikku and Yufie. They both share that same annoying characteristic of being the character that is too over excited and just annoying. I didn't even like Yufie in Kingdom Hearts. That game just made her look worse.

I don't think that makes Quina a bad character. I found Quina amusing actually. I renamed he/she/it Hungry and enjoyed using the Cook command.

The worst character would have to be either Amarant or Wakka. Amarant I found completely pointless. I mean, he comes in halfway through the game and to me his skills weren't all that great. He also had very little personality. :hmmm: Wakka just annoyed the shit out of me. His hair, his voice, his outfit. >_> I think the most annoying thing was his voice but yeah, I didn't really care for him.

Complete whopper? The guy was confused because he lost his homeworld. So what if he's too energetic? He's just making the best of every situation. I'm not really mad or angry or telling you off, but I just don't see why you and everyone else hate Tidus. His voice actor, James Arnold Taylor, made such great voices for characters like Ratchet from the R&C series and Iceman from Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Lots of people don't like his voice, and I understand. To me, his voice is fine. I hope there's no hard feelings between me and the rest of the Tidus-haters. I'm just speaking my mind and mean no offense. :)

Anyway, I can't think of any characters that I dislike. I love Final Fantasy that much. The closest I came to disliking the series was the awkward moments. Just made me want to turn away, especially the too many romantic scenes. And the closest character I came close to hating would have to be Cloud. I don't really hate him, it's just his character upsets me a little.

I would also love to disagree with those hate characters like Quina, Kuja, Amarant or Wakka. But This ain't no debating topic so I'll stop here. :)

I didnt particually hate any characters, in the games everyone kind of compliments each other i think.. I'd have to say the one i dislike the most would be tidus, his voice anoyed me quite alot and he just seemed to want to wine alot. I know Seymour wasnt a playable charactor and that he was the bad guy (discluding sin) and your ment to not like them but i really didnt like him, he was just a creep.
 
1. Vaan for being utterly pointless through out the game. He had no reason to be with the rest of the party so I do not understand why Balthier did not just drop him off somewhere safe after escaping from that prison. It also feels that Enix did not even try with his character.

2. Penelo. I like her but her inclusion in the story was also pointless. She would have been better off as a side character.

3. Tifa. It seemed that her sole role in FF7 was just to whine. Also she had a eerie obsession with Cloud. If you think Aeris is brainless, the only thing on Tifa's mind was Cloud. Seriously, get your own damn life woman! And worst of all, she was like this the entire game.

4. Kimari- I didn't hate him, I just often forgot he was there. It would have been nice is he was developed a little more and made his presence a little more known in FFX.

5. X-2 Yuna- Went from a quiet loving girl who was willing to sacrifice her self for Spira despite her loved ones not wanting her to, to a braindead hyper ADHD 12 year old.

6. X-2 Rikku- Went from a girl who did not agree with the summoner pilgrimage but still wanting to support Yuna to a brain dead slutty hyper ADHD 12 year old.
