Worst songs ever...

Atreyu's cover of Epic.
I wasn't "Epic" and was the worst this I have ever heard. Atreyu does have a few good songs, but FNM 4 LIFE!

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit. It's nothing but horrible screaming. Why does like everyone on Earth love metal except me?

Well what can I say the most annoying song I've ever heard would be any and all of Brittany Spear's songs. Sorry to all those Brittany fans, but remember this is only my opinion.

All I can say is that Nirvana's screaming is nothing compared to artists you get today and Nirvana are not metal if you think that is bad then keep your ears away from anything heavier than Heavy Metal :D. Also screaming is very hard to perform correctly as you can seriously damage your throat if you aren't trained properly. It is something I can definitely appreciate. Especially the likes of Corey Taylor who is excellent at interchanging screaming with clean vocals in a heartbeat.

I'll go for one in the whole rock genre since the majority of pop songs could to my list go with:

Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby

Honestly? Why is this band even popular? The are just very basic and Ricky Wilson is probably one of the worst vocalists in a rock band (He should be grateful I even call their material 'rock'). A terrible band and I could probably pick more from them but I think this one is the worst yet catchy for people love them so much.

Well, I don't like any screamy music...I grew up with 1960s music because that's what my mom listened to (although I was born in 1987), and now I think most modern music is too harsh. I like some pop and R&B (although recently R&B seems to be degerating into rap, blehh) and dance music, but mostly I think the 2000s are the worst decade in music history.

May I forever die in a fire for ever posting this. God damn these kids for screwing up my generation.

MmmmmmmmmBop - Hanson

He doesn't scream,he just doesn't enounciate very clearly, he only really gets close to screaming on Tourettes, and Nirvana are grunge, so not at all metal.

As for worst song, I couldn't say that there is one much worse than anything else. 80s glam rock ie Bon Jovi is terrible, as is pop and so is that dreadful pre-doors American 60s music, it is just incredibly dull.

I agree with you 100%. Not only do I hate that song, I can't stand them period.

Worse song I ever heard... I can't say that I have a particular song I hate but I can't stand any song that is done by Nickelback. All their songs are recycled which I find highly annnoying to my liking. I thank a friend of mine for pointing this out for me.

Peh, I don't really care about the difference between grunge and metal, or anything else like emo, punk, etc. Why am I the only person on Earth who can't stand heavy music? Some of it makes me feel like I want to die!

I call it depressive rock. Most people in rock these days either sing about their Woah's through varies means (so they can't be called emo) or they sing like BuckCherry (Worst band ever). Sing about women that they can't get, sing about getting drunk all night, and they overcompensate for the lack of something something.

The originality is music is a downward spiral, I am sad to say but it is a dying breed.

There's so many bad songs out there.

I guess if I was to pick one right now. It would be Amy Whinehouse' Valerie... Its awful, I can't stand it. I don't get why that did so well.

Oh and anything by Scouting for Girls. All their songs sound the same.

I agree about Scouting for Girls. Although She's so Lovely came on when I am drunk (or not :)), then I would probably be caught singing to it. :D

All the stupid Mainstream greek hip/hop, pop, folk music.
Not only they are REALLY bad, digusting melodies for 10 year olds, with horrible excuses for "Love" lyrics i have to listen to them everytime i go to college on my friend's car!
Shit, i guess i have to talk to him :gasp:

EDIT: To Kain's Lance earlier posts:

Seriously.."Keep away from everything that is heavier than Heavy Metal" ?!
Geez from that sentence and only I can see that you 're misjudging stuff from either lack of knowledge about it, plain ignorance or just boredom.
There a BUNCH of good bands out there wich are WAY heavier than Heavy Metal and are not nessecerily "crap".
Opinions differ but when it comes to Metal i defend it like my Family.

EDIT No2: Well sorry for the misunderstanding i just picked the sentence and forgot to read the whol f**** post >_<
I can see a Metalhead here :P
Again sorry for the misunderstanding >_<

1. Obla Di Obla Da - The Beatles

The Beatles made some good songs in their day, but this most certainly isn't one of them. In fact I think it's the worst song ever.

2. Mexican Girl - Smokie

This could have been any Smokie song really, but I kinda came to the conclusion that I like this even less than all the others.

All rap songs i mean when people sing those songs that dont even know a good song if it was shoved up their arse.

Nothing comes to my mind at the moment.I'm not a great fan or rap songs but I wouldn't call them crap.
A thing I hate about songs are when Japanese try to sing in english or have many english words in a songs that can't pronounce right. It seems cute to many but for me it's irritating.Sorry if I offended anyone. But they too don't like when their words are used by anime fans who don't know the full language and don't speak it right.

The worst song that for some unknown reason is STILL being played on the radio is chopped and screwed by T-Pain. I just want to say that personally auto-tune sounds terrible I hate it fuck :holyshit: I hate it. This song is just about the most none lyrically active song that has ever been my misfortune to hear. Terrible music it makes soulja boy look like Earth Wind and Fire it's so bad. I miss when people used to make good music like cool and the Gang, Hendrix the Beatles, Marley. It's not fair that our generation has to put up with this nonsense rhyming bullshit. Just not fair
