Well, he is the best character FF has ever seen. 
If he was the only choice, then yeah, but if I could choose to be Tidus, I would, but without the semi-n00b personality, more like an Edward Elric type of kid.

Auron is pretty kool, but given the choice to be any character from X it would probably be khimari...imagine having blue skin
