Would you like to see a sequel to this game, or maybe a movie....or a prequel? Maybe you'd like to see it remade on any platform of your choice

Discuss your thoughts, what you would like/dislike, or do you think that it should be left alone altogether?

Remake of FFV, PSP or DS?

Well as you all know in celebration of FF 20th anniversary they have released PSP remakes of FF I and II, and DS remakes of III and IV.
this could only mean that V and VI are next, which would you rather see
a PSP remake or a DS remake?

I would personally prefer a PSP remake since I and II looked much better on the PSP then III and IV did on the psp, plus the DS games all got weird artists, and the PSP games just stuck with Yoshitaka Amano.

or! would you rather see a PS3/Xbox 360 remake?
maybe an artist appearance by Tetsuya Nomura!
preosnally I'd love to see a fully 3-D, X-Box 360 remake of this game as long as Nomura or Amano did the art, but this is unrealistic so I'm voting PSP

I don't ever wanna see this game remade, or see a spin off to it, I just didn't like it. Although, Id prefer to see it remade for the DS if it happened. I do have a PSP but I think Id prefer it on the DS

Not that Id ever play it mind....

No, I hated this game tbqh. I couldn't care less if it was remade, I guess it would be good for drawing the attention of newcomers to the old school FF's though.

As for spin offs, I tried to watch the Legend of the Crystals, I really did but I just couldn't subject my self to more than 40 minutes of that crap. So no I wouldn't like to see any more spin offs thank you very much.

I didn't like Legend of the Crystals either...
but V is still the greatest :D

thats why I'd like a remake not a spinoff
 
Remake FTW on DS FTChampionship!

I played this game on emu, loved it, then played again on GBA.

I so want a remake for DS, it just seems right somehow.
 
A remake for the DS like Square did with III and IV would be really cool, but I have no patience. Not only that, if it doesn't come to the DS, I'll have to get the GBA version, but that's already very hard to find these days.

It would be stupid to remake it on a console. Those first 6 are just perfect for the Nintendo handhelds imo.

ah no way, i want them to make a full 3-D HD remake of this game, it would be so AWESOME! if not that at least on the PSP, but no the DS wouldn't be good for V, III was good for DS, IV was pushing it, but not V...
 
I don't think it has quite enough popularity for them to consider making the extra effort for a console remake tbh, which is of course a shame cos its a great game. But I don't mind the DS versions I think they did a good job with III and IV.
 
Well. I would prefer if it stayed untouched for the classical and epic feeling, but since they did a great job on the DS remakes of III and IV, I... Well, I´m not sure. My heart says no, but my eyes would like to say yes. :P
 
I loved Final Fantasy V and would love to see it remade on the DS. Somehow, I don't think the PSP has the best feel for a V remake, and an HD remake is way too excessive for a game like this. The style of the DS remakes of FF III and IV would work wonderfully for V, especally if the package come with voice acting, expanded story scenes, rebalanced jobs(999 AP is too much to master the Red Mage job), brand new jobs, and new dunegons added to the game.

If Square Enix can do a remake on the level of FF IV for V, than I will be very happy.
 
The way things are going, with the remakes currently on the DS, I can honestly say that i cant see the remakes going anywhere else. Especially not a console like the 360 or the PS3. The PSP is a far stretch in itself in fact. Nintendo seems to be holding some kind of deal with Square Enix right now, and i believe thats where the remakes will stay for the time being.
 
I'd love to see a remake of it on the PS3/Xbox, Come on, this is one of my favourite's!
It's deserves the royal treatment, But odd's of that happening are slim to none.
Ah well. If it is remake on DS, I hope they stay true to amano's art.
 
Well, simply voted the PSP because that's the only console in the options available that I actually own. Chances are, there isn't a chance that I'll be getting the other consoles anytime soon, so PSP's my choice. It is quite likely as well- if they are to remake the game, which I think is already very unlikely.

On the PS3? I think they'll be going too far, same with X Box 360. I'm certainly not keen on a super high definition Bartz and a super high definition ExDeath....

DS? Quite likely, but since they have already came up with a Advance version, I thought they might want change. LOL. Dumb reasoning, since they'll probably collaborate with Nintendo again or something- now that sounds more reasonable.
 
No! I'll be glad if they port it into the PSP, but no remakes. I found the FF1 and FF2 remakes' graphics quite disappointing. They look idiotic, in my opinion.
 
I would love to see a remake of FFV because it's my favorite game and it's getting harder and harder to play because my GBASP is dying. keeps freezing and stuff.

I would also like to see a spin-off, but I wouldn't expect too much because spin-offs usually suck on tragic levels.
 
don't think anyone has mentioned it but a 3ds remake could be possible according to a quote which I read on wikipedia;
