I still doubt Cher. She didn't sing the really high note in the middle of Stay and I'd have shown some appreciation if she did, but she ... didn't. :gasp:

There's nothing stopping me from thinking Matt is the clear winner. He can sing anything and his version of Bleeding Love was so original! Paije certainly surprised me tonight as well.

It'll either be Belle Amie or Wagner going tomorrow, they were the weakest tonight. Belle Amie, as much as I like them, have been given the wrong songs. And Wagner. Seriously? You want to keep him in? You want to keep hearing him make excuses about his accent to cover up his singing? He's gone boring now, he didn't even make me laugh this time.

I totally agree!

I think she did a really fantastic job of that, I never heard the song before tonight but she did some really strong vocals, and it was quite haunting, as it was intended to be. So what if she didn't hit a certain note? I don't think that was what people were expecting of her, just the fact that she can sing brilliantly is good enough for me.
 
Cher should just stick to singing and forget about rapping all together because she is clearly better when she is singing but i think she actually wants to go down the rapping route, her Idol is Nicki Minaj and just by looking at her work you can see Cher takes after her a lot.. So i don't think she is ready to move on from it but it would be the best choice for her after tonight just after that performance alone she has gone from 12/1 to 11/2, She looked and sounded like a new person today.. amazing improvement from the previous weeks in which she has been Poor.

Tomorrow i can see Paije and Aiden being in the bottom two, hopefully Katie doesn't end up there because she is growing in confidence and getting better week by week, doubt she will go all the way but i hope she does.
 
I think Wagner or Belle Amie will be in the bottom 2, Wagner is just getting silly now, and Belle Amie just piss me off if I'm quite honest. Don't think they gel that well together as a group. I don't want either Paije or Aiden to go in the bottom 2 I like them both, but after Wagner and Belle Amie go it's gonna be hard for me to pick people I don't like, I like too many of the acts, why can't they all get recording contracts :gasp:
 
Is it a single or double elimination? If it's a double elimination, Belle Amie and Wagner need to go. Wagner is boring now, and Belle Amie were shockingly awful. If it's a double elimination, I predict Belle Amie out on the votes, and Wagner in the bottom 2 along with one of TreyC / Paije / Aiden / Katie.

Although, that may just be me being biased because I hate the song Venus with a passion. Awful song. It's one of those things that should stay in the 80s.

I really liked Aiden and Paije tonight. Rebecca and Matt, who I think are the ones who will be in the final 2, sort of disappointed me. I really liked what Aiden did to Thriller, although I know many hated it, and I thought Paije nailed Back to Black, which is an amazing song.

Katie and TreyC didn't impress. Which is a shame, as normally TreyC nails it, but, I found her performance bland and forgettable. Mary was good, although, I still think she looks like Pat Butcher with dyed hair. One Direction were just... awful. I loathe them.

Now, Cher... I don't normally like. But, tonight, she impressed. Yes, her high notes weren't perfect and were off key. But. I liked her performance, it showed she can sing without any gimmicks - and she should stick to it, it was much more impressive than the rap, and more accessible.

I thought she was very Stevie-Nicks-Esque with how she was dressed tonight, with the dramatic black gown - so that was a huge plus for me, personally. xD Stay is an incredible song, and I was, quite honestly, expecting car-crash TV. Marcella Detroit has something ridiculous like a 4-Octave range... Cher doesn't have that. But, I thought she did really well - especially during the "hope and pray" part.

I think the final 5 will be Matt, Rebecca, Mary, One Direction and one of Cher/Aiden. They're the ones with the mass-appeal. Matt and Rebecca are the only two I can see winning it, Mary has the housewives / Irish vote (and if the papers are to be believed, has always been in the top 2, voting wise) One Direction will have the teenage girl vote, the mums-who-should-know-better-vote, and the Grans-who-really-should-know-better vote (My mum and Grandma LOVE them -__-) while Cher and Aidan both have really rabid fanbases - but, I don't think that's enough to make them win.
 
I wouldn't believe the papers, they said last year Jedward were topping the votes everyweek but when the % of the weeks were revealed they never topped the votes in any weeks, Aiden's version of Thriller didn't sound right at all, far to slow for a song like that and the Dancers made it look even worse as well, I think One Direction have pretty much got the show in the bag, A group have never won before and it's clear as daylight that the judges want us to think that they are the Next big thing.

This is the video of Matt Cardles band, Seven Summers. I'm absolutely loving this song, and I prefer the way he sings this kind of stuff compared to the XFactor songs, but I still love him :)

They have an album on Itunes, and on Amazon as well, they have quite a few good songs on it, and I was surprised by how aggressive his voice can get in this album.
 
So Belle Amie went tonight. Sort of predictable, but pissed off that the Weasel didn't go. She looked like she was going to have a nervous breakdown, the attention seeking whore.

I hope next week will have a better theme. Shayne Ward and Kylie Minogue are performing next week. Oh God, the Weasel is still crying on ITV2. :rage:
 
Katie deserved to stay, she was a lot better then Belle Aime in the showdown and it looked like she wanted it more then Belle Aime, She should never have been in the bottom two this week.. it's like Rachel from last year, great performances but kept being in the bottom two.
 
Yeah I am really glad that Belle Amie went, but I have a feeling Simon Cowell isn't gonna let us see the last of them. Katie nearly screwed up on her performance last night didn't she? Not impressed to be honest, she's probably going to be going soon, which is sad as I was starting to like her performances.
 
I was pretty sure Belle Amie would go as soon as I found out they were singing Venus. It's an awful awful awful song. Some things should just stay in the 80s.

Week 5 is normally shock elimination week, but, I think Unless Mary or Aiden go, no one would be a shock (I can't see Matt or Rebecca being in the bottom 2, if they went, that would be a shock). I think Cheryl might have two girls in the bottom 2 this week - namely TreyC and Katie.

Unless, of course, Wagner goes. Although, him singing O Fortuna and going into Bat Out Of Hell was certainly... interesting, I don't think he'll be able to top it this week :lew:
 
Next week will be interesting usually the week an act has been in the bottom 2 they are safe the following week, no one has been in the bottom two twice in row this year, probably because their fan's know that they need to vote for them, I'm suprised Paije has never been in the bottom two yet and i think Mary isn't as safe as people think. Lucie going last year at this stage was a massive shocker so you never know.
 
Week 5 is typically the "shock" elimination week. Last year it was Lucie, the year before that it was Laura White.

Also, if you check over the previous 6 series, a woman has always gone out on week 5.

I genuinely think Paije is more popular than people think, I thought he'd be early-round cannon fodder and Dannii would be down to Aidan and Matt by week 2/3. Yet, she's avoided having an act in the bottom 2/3 every week apart from week 1 so far.
 
So this would mean that a girl is set to go next week, unless that pattern's broken. I'd personally want Katie to go myself. She's been in the bottom two twice now, whereas Treyc has been there once.

Well, you were right, 2 of Cheryl's girls were in the bottom 2 tonight. I am really shocked and angry that Katie got through again though! Did you see what she did? Bloody cheek, and Treyc actually gave a good performance tonight.

Anyway in my opinion the 2 best performances of last night were Paije and Matt for me, love them both, they are great. I am really worried that Wagner isn't going to go anytime soon :sad3:

She just had a tantrum towards the end of the song and shouted, "Sod it!" What a diva. Urgh, for fuck's sake. Why did Simon think that as viewers, we'd like to see more of her? And even though Treyc had been in the bottom two before, she didn't deserve to go. She highly reminded me of Alexandra Burke, especially the way she looked tonight with her hair!

Katie to definitely go next week. Otherwise, Wagner. This is a singing contest, geez.
 
really I think Katie should've gone 2nite preferred Treyc rather tha her........I might've understood,but one thing I don't is why didn't Cheryl vote! :rage: I mean that is kinda unfair on TreyC,but just cause two of your own acts come in the bottom two doesn't mean you can choose not to vote.........someone shouldve forced her........anyway since this is TreyC's second time in the bottom two I guess she probably wouldve went sooner or later........Katie's time will probably come too and hopefully Wagner's :rage:.
 
Well, I'm disgusted Katie didn't go.

a) It was only Treyc's second time in the bottom two
b) It was Katie's THIRD time there
c) Katie forgot her words
d) Treyc is a FAR better singer

I'm still annoyed. :mokken:
