I've heard on square enix news that the FF XII Agito will be availble for X-Box 360. Personly I think that sucks because FF was like a trademark of Playstation only (excludes FF11 and the ones before FF7). But I also have heard that Ps3 users will have very good exclusives like FFXIII Versus, KH 3, and a franchiese RPG tottaly new.

If I'm not mistaken, aren't they releasing FFXIII and Versus for the XBox 360 as well? I swear, it's always the same with you Sony lovers. Why can't you just accept the fact that, well, Sony does NOT own Final Fantasy, therefore those games can be released on any game console deemed necessary?

I thought they were only releasing FFXIII for the 360 and the PS3 and keeping Versus XIII as a PS3 exclusive. Agito is coming out for the PSP, isn't it?

True True but most of people don't agree with that.
Versus will be a Ps3 Only by what i've seen

Versus and Agito won't be going to 360 they'll be staying on the PS3 and PSP/Mobile. The only way Microsoft would get Versus is if they threw crap loads of money at SE again...which is really the reason they got FFXIII to start with.

The only true "trademark" that sony has ever had was metal gear solid.

Seriously, FF on 360 isn't the end of the world. Remember, that once, in this time LONG AGO, FF was only on NINTENDO consoles! :O

Shocking, I know! :/

Well firstly FF Agito XIII will only be on the PSP, whats more is that at the moment I'm pretty sure that Versus will be a PS3 exclusive (unless it is announced otherwise). So really it is just FF XIII which will be released on the 360. In other words it is NOT the end of the world :gasp:

Well the original Metal Gear Solid was released on the PC and then remade for the Game cube. Plus MGS2: Substance was relased on the PC and Xbox as well. So can you really call it Sony's one true 'Trademark'

Thats Biased BS. The reason they did is because the 360 is popular in Japan and China now as well as the USA! The 360 has better games and a far greater variety of them. Fanboy.

As much as I hate to admit it, Sherbert is right. Bascially, Square-Enix is trying to make sure they get good sales on at least one of their XIII titles. It has nothing to do with Microsoft. Would MS have to offer a company money for them to see that a console's going down a bad direction? No... Squeenix is using this as a fail-safe to make more yen. That's the bottom line here.

It's absolutely not thank you.

I'd like to get the fact straight that FFXIII WASN'T planned to be originally released on the 360 and the only reason it was announced at E3 was because Microsoft BOUGHT the title weeks if not days before the event happened which is why Sony were surprised at the news.

"Scott Rohde and Ron Eagle, they pretty much confirm that Microsoft bought the previously Playstation 3 exclusive title for their console. Square-Enix's money troubles was the most likely cause for abandoning the exclusivity with their partner Sony and Microsoft saw their troubles and took advantage."
We'll get our facts right before we start ranting about other peoples comments thank you.

xD Still, Squeenix would have gone 360 anyways. They wouldn't sell anything PS3 exclusive. Not much, anyways. And Squeenix is all for the money so, that's what you got. In that sense, Squeenix and Microsoft are a perfect fit. Where is this source of yours, BTW?

Does not really matter now. What site is that from is it even real? He He.
Sqaureenix made the the right choice for there company to merge ahead and really increase there assets and money to spend on production cost and long term debts.

Well, in truth, it doesn't matter what sony says or does. Microsoft has always been good at pushing their competition outta the ring, and even when their technology is lacking in superiority (Mac vs Windows), Microsoft is skilled at controlling the market with cheap products and user customizability. Truthfully, I already know that its just a matter of time before Microsoft takes over yet again, and then they'll have to buy their way out of another monopoly. They do it all the time.

Oh, and all of those big screen tvs and all the electronics in your car? Nearly anything with a user interface runs some form of windows anyway, including many sony products, so secretly they're all in cahoots. Oh, and the moneyflow goes straight to the publisher of the game, which is why since Squaresoft and Enix merged they've been lacking in... well, pretty much a lot of aspects of FF. Unfortunately, final fantasy might not make it past the next few installments, hence all of the ellaboration on old stories (Started with FF Tactics series, then grew to ffx-2 and the kingdom hearts series, and now ff7 has its own friggin spinoffs multiplying by the minute). Another problem is that the same dudes who've been making ff have been on for years, and they really don't have a lot of new story writers. And, to throw some razorblades on the cake, the days of exclusive gaming on systems is coming to an end soon since they've begun to become closer and closer to advanced computers. This will eventually cause the console gaming market to use a single format for their games, and possibly the only 'exclusives' will all be downloads.

You ever wonder why certain games get certain perks on different systems? Why some get one 'special' thing while one gets another? Because they're in cahoots. The big boys up top only care about marketability and sign contracts with publishers and developers to have exclusives. In truth, microsoft and sony have a PARTNERSHIP, since they use eachother's products in other aspects of technology. And, to really get you thinking, they have different exclusives on both systems because they make sales, get them money, and allow for their products to be in nearly every home by 2012. By making themselves household names, and by adding new 'devices' like blu-ray, they've created a new multi-national alliance of money making. It's quite terrifying really, when you think about it. Oh, and to scare you more, thaere are politicians on the boards of these companies.

Can anyone say 'conspiracy'?
