Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums so I thought I would write a little intro...

The first Final Fantasy I played was 7. I think I was 7 or 8 at the time, I didn't buy it myself because I didn't know anything about games. It was my Dad that actually bought it for himself, he had never played RPGs before but apparently the gaming world was saying how great FF7 was and how they had never seen anything like it before, so he thought he would give it ago.

After several failed attempts to beat the first boss (yes, the scorpion) he gave up and never played it again!

So me and my brother decided to play it and from that day onward I was pretty much exposed to a whole new world.

I have now played other FF games, but my favourites are 7, 8 and 9 (never played 10!! :()

Last year I went to see a Final Fantasy concert that came to London, it was one of the best nights of my life... I realised how much the music, characters and the different worlds of Final Fantasy have helped shape who I am today.

So I thought I would join this forum to talk with other Final Fantasy people :) I can't wait to get involved.

If you're interested in creative work (writing, drawing, music), then check out the Final Fantasy clans! :) We celebrate various characters, monsters and more from the Final Fantasy worlds. Each fortnight, we run a creative competition. From the 17th, for example, we're celebrating Beatrix and Steiner and clan members will be writing love letters! From the 1st October, we're celebrating Cloud's character and members will be asked to write lyrics to Cloud Smiles. :)

Welcome to the forums! I wish I could go to an FF concert :(. Final Fantasy has changed my life in a lot of different ways too!
Anyway, enjoy your stay here!

Don't take Shuce's words about the admins seriously :wacky:. Our admins are really nice and dedicated!

Welcome! I got the change to go to the Distant Worlds concert when they toured here in the U.S. I had the time of my life. Seriously.

And have fun on the forums :) You'll probably get the chance to play FFX when it comes out on the PS3 or the Vita in HD. Whenever the heck that happens. Have you played FFVI yet? You mentioned playing some of the other games so I was wondering if you played that one.

Vin Venture - Sounds cool :) I will check it out, I'm a computer science student, I like it but I realised it isn't something I want to do all my life, so when I thought about what my dream life would be and what I would do I thought 'make my own music and be a DJ'. So over summer I did a DJ course and now I'm looking to learn Abelton Live. I DJ Uk/ Happy hardcore, so yeah... I like raving, anime, wwe, going gym and other things but I can't think of anything atm :)

@PheonyxAngel - I haven't played VI either :( my mate keeps on telling me to play it though, I've heard its ment to be pretty amazing. I've played most of the Final Fantasy games but I always find myself going back to VII, VIII, IX. Is VI your favourite?

FFX is my favorite. VI is very close to being tied though. lol. But I think VI and VII are tied for my second favorite.
