You know your obessed when you spend all your time listening to the games' soundtracks (yes including AC & DC) while doing research on the website for a story set 20 in the future in the FF7 universe.
 
You have just spent the last of your cash on e-bay buying a limited edition Tifa figurine and dumped your girlfriend because she says "You do love me more than Final Fantasy games!" when you meet her in the pub on a friday night......

When you spend hours just reading ffvii forums and laughing non-stop.
When your friends call you cloud becuase you threatened them if they dont!
 
When you spend days compiling a soundtrack for your FFVII fanfiction, and get emotional when your fave character's song you associate them with comes on the radio.

Hehe, sooo guilty of that one too. I can't help but get in neck-deep when writing ANYTHING! xD
 
You are obsessed with FF7 if you......
+ play the game so much the disk melts
+ have more than 200 Hours on one file and still be on the first disk
+ own 3 different copies of the game because the case changed (Original, Greatest hits, Square Enix on the front)
+ Make your own Buster Swod replica because you are to cheap to buy one
+ Your local EB Games store holds anything that is related to FF7 for you.

I am victim to the second and fourth one.

When you cry when Aeris gets killed by Sephiroth and forget about the game and plot, its personal now, he is going to pay for killing YOUR friend
 
1. When you spend 127 bucks on e-bay for a new copy of FFVII (It's so worth it!)
2. When you play Aerith's theme on the piano all the time (I'm still learning.)
3. When you watch FFVII Advent Children once every month.
4. When you talk about FFVII to your friends all the time, including online friends. ^_^
 
1.When you're drunk and sing One Winged Angel.
2.When you're taking exams and imaging boss theme in your mind.
3.When you win something or something is succesfull for you then you're whistling victory fanfare.
4.When you're telling someone you're going to shop to buy potions , antidotes or phoenix downs.
5.When you're asking your neighbour if he have any Gysahl greens left.
6.When you're going to fight with someone or have important thing to do then you're telling you're friends you're going to fight with a boss .

8.When you're going with friends to a forest for gaining exp.

10.When you're tired and tell someone you need to recover your stamina or HP.
11.When you know all monsters lv, hp, mp and attacks from ff7.
12.When your calling your own flat a Shinra Building.
13.When you got up and tell yourself 'HP/MP restored'.
14.When you called your own cat 'Cait Sith' and you gave him megaphone.
15.When you live near sea and call your own town Costa del Sol.
16.When you see a katana then you recognize it as Murasame, Yoshiyuki or Masamune.
17.When you're searching for a key in excavations.
18.When you want to live in FF7 world.
19.When you remember all dialogues from ff7 and you're quoting it in real life.
20.When you're calling you're dog/cat you shouting ' I summon you!' , 'Diamond Dust!' or 'Mega Flare!'
21.When you recognize power plant as reactor in your city/town.

you know when you are obessed with ff7 when you level cloud up to 99 before you fight the first boss ^_^
 
You hook an MP3 player filled with FFVII songs to the stereo in your school's common room and have pretend battles with your friends to the battle theme (that was a fun day)
You carry a huge tree branch around and name it Masamune (I was drunk at the time)
You collect feathers, paint them red and call them phoenix downs
You know the lines to the whole of AC off by heart and say them right before the characters do without even realising when watching it (I did that last night)
