  • i remember someone touched a lathe after it had been used at school years ago and burned his hand. it was grim.

i sort of liked it, i think i would have enjoyed it more if i'd seen it when it was new rather than now because that sort of twist is done so often these days. i guessed that the bald guy, the boy and probably his mother were all in his head but i couldn't figure out exactly why.
    1. Let the flames begin
    2. When it rains
    3. Break it off
    4. Playing god

    :ohoho: More?
... :gonk: That is so ridiculous. You might wanna consider CS6, has an auto save apparently.
haha speaking of matt damon, i watched good will hunting last night with him in it and it's amaaaazing. he looks so young in it as well. no country for old men is also excellent, but i always get a little bored towards the end. never seen the departed though. does it have di caprio in?
You made it, didn't you :ohoho:

Veryyyyyyy impressed, esp. the buttstallion thing :wacky: ...:lew:

Now all we have to do is convince her to change her name to Handsome Jack :britt:
Oh, I dunno, some Uncharted 3 argument happened where Kira and Ari were on the same side against mlfy. Apparently it ticks the guy off that anyone would dare to agree with Ari. I mean, how dare they! He then brought it into the SB by calling them out, basically asking for trouble then ordering Jeff to delete some posts and maybe punish them (because not liking someone is sufficient grounds for having them infracted!). Mel then came along and infracted mlfy for pseudo-modding (and I suspect, also for being a massive dick, which he was). Mlfy, who generally hates Mel as well, started crying and left.

I didn't lift a finger to "help" him as he wanted me to to, yet he still thinks I'm a wonderful person and he can never ever ever hate me. :wacky: So yeah, an idiot.
It's depressing because I'm the only person he doesn't hate no matter what I do or say. :sad3: Even though I left with him with a very flattering farewell VM when he decided to fuck off from the forums last year.
I know. I love older films. have any great ones to suggest? my mom just got netflix and i plan on watching a lot of movies.

I didn't know you liked black hawk down and saving private ryan. :lew: usually people hate those types of films. Like you, I prefer Black Hawk Down as well. It's more accurate to what actually happened in an event. the battles in private ryan were real of course, but the characters/stories in black hawk down were real.

plus the cast is amazing! I had NO idea Ewan bremner was scottish, I've always thought him and McGregor were great actors. and josh hartnett is one of my favs, too. can't forget about tom hardy either. that guys amazing. but I think i prefer black hawk down because i'm a fan of Ridley Scott :lew:

and yes, the ending to private ryan is one of the saddest. i remember getting teary eyed the first time i saw it.
Yeah his frustration was building up towards many things – the filthy vulgarity of humanity, but also the pretences and false promises.
He could easily, and was very close to, doing his shoot-out at that campaign.
That’s one of the eeriest parts of the movie to me. Like you said, he could have been just one of those shoot-out villains you hear about. Instead his shootout would be regarded as heroic, as he shot pimps and underage sex-traffickers, etc, instead. He was really on a knife’s edge the whole time though.
    'You talkin' to me?!'

Yeah, I do love that film. I like how he gradually slips downwards and becomes so distant from everything, yet is so naive when he genuinely tries to communicate with people (like the porn-cinema date gaffe). The movie keeps you tense all the way as you know he is going to snap and do something, but you don't know where.
Omfg, and wtf did you do to your profile?

I hope the next JEW album is better than the last, I wasn't really a fan of it. :sad3:
